Bob Tredici (Marc Grapey) is a big-time New York City publicist who left the family far behind years ago to pursue his career in show business. However when his father is in an accident bob returns home to Indiana to be with him. While spending time on his father's farm bob takes a liking to the work on the farm causing a conflict between himself and his cousin Greg who thought that he would take over the farm after Bob abandoned it. When Bob convinces his secretary to pose as his wife in order to curry favor with his father the family begins to unravel at the seems over Bob and Greg's heated rivalry in this heart-rending but warm drama, featuring Tyne Daly.

This may be a value priced DVD, but the master was of good quality and the resulting transfer looks fresh and new, with vibrant color and sound! The story is wonderful; who could want more!

This movie is light fluff. The story is a version of many other stories with the same theme: a down and out man who finds that he can interact with his family and then, together, become successful. The success, as in this film, is usually virtually miraculous. The man, as in many films of this genre, has a girl as a friend or helper, and ultimately falls in love with her. Yet, despite the predictability and the lack of any depth, the film was alright.

I enjoyed this movie. It is a good one to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I really liked the main characters and especially Rebecca Harrell, where I first saw her in "Prancer." She is a beautiful young lady in this role. This movie is wholesome and entertaining.
