About the Author

Larisa Bland has been digitizing embroidery designs for seven years and since has discovered a technique for digitizing quilt blocks. She has a successful web site on which she sells designs using her technique. She is also a contributing member to the two largest online embroidery malls that have over a combined 75,000-member database. She offers Block of the Month and Mystery Quilt Clubs using the Piece in the Hoop method. Larisa has been featured in Creative Embroidery Magazine.

Nancy Ziemam—author, pattern designer, business woman, home economist, and national sewing authority—is the host of the popular show Sewing With Nancy, which appears exclusively on public television stations across the United States and Canada. This is an advertisement without the specifics that machine embroiders need. What are the most popular formats; SEW JEF ART ? What is the size of the stitch field required for the designs; 4X4, 6X8, 5X7, 8X8 or other? I have used these techniques with great success from other sources but I would not purchase this without knowing these answers in advance. I have wasted money in the past on designs that were too big for my machine and all the books with design CDs are not returnable.
