Great product as promised.

I ended up replacing them with different model, and I'd recommend noone else even consider buying them.

The containers, while magnetic are not strong enough to hold on the fridge when full of a spice.

I had a set of nice (well made) spice containers already, and was looking to add to the collection without spending a lot of money. These worked, in that they look a lot like the ones I already have and were cheap. However, they are nowhere near the quality of the other ones I have. The magnet is not as strong; the seal is not very good (the metal lid rests right on the metal base without a seal ring); a couple of the lids were cracked (although this may have been caused by me running them through the dishwasher); and one of the bases was missing a hole to shake out the spice. They look good though!

I purchased 5 sets of these tins to contain my assortment of spices.

Of course, I washed them after I removed them from the packaging, but I was surprised to find that there was a layer of grime on all of them. It was easily removed with dish soap, but make sure that you wash thoroughly.

I handwashed each one because the heat of the dishwasher can damage magnets. The base magnets are glued onto the bottom of each tin. Some of the magnets are not dead-center on the base, and some are not as strong as the others. Only one spice slides down the wall, but it is the heaviest spice that I have, so I made other arrangements for it.

The acrylic windows on the lids were slightly scratched from shipping/packaging, but probably not enough for a bystander to notice. The windows are sealed into the lid with what appears to be silicone.

Although the seal between the lid and base is not airtight, it seems to be adequate, as nothing leaks out of the containers while they hang on the side of my refrigerator.

On whole, I am very happy with this set. Now I have everything within arm's reach. I no longer have to dig through a drawer or reach to the back of a cabinet for spices that I use less frequently. They also look very nice attached to the side of my fridge. Great value.

I bought these to save counter space. I was hoping to mount them inside the door of a cupboard. Here is where they fall short:

-The rack that comes with them is not mountable (no screws or holes for screws). It has a reasonably small footprint.

- Each container was out of round. That means it is incredibly hard to get the lid on the container without bending one or the other with your hand.

- some of the lids show stress cracks (probably from forcing them onto the bottom of the container).

-The magnet is not very strong. It holds a container full of salt, but barely.

I recommend shelling out the extra money and getting a decent set. i will use these, until the lids break, and then will upgrade. I tried to reorganize by saving money, but these aren't worth the price difference. I do like the idea and design (twist the lid to reveal various shaker openings), though the out of round shape makes them hard to twist sometimes. I suspect they will last roughly 1 year. Great idea, bad execution

I thought to myself why pay more for what looks like the same product but with fancier packaging but I couldn't have been more wrong. I bought two of these items with two trays and 7 spice containers. BOTH trays were scratched up and looked like they had been in someones kitchen for 5 years. 5 of the 14 containers had the magnet either fall off in the box or was on it's way off. 1 of the 14 containers had the magnet so misaligned I had to tear it off and replace it. 8 of the 14 containers had scratches on the cover that make them look used right out of the box and 6 of the containers were warped in a way the lid barely spins on them, I can use them but my wife can't. I highly recommend you spend the money and go with a higher end product from a more reputable manufacturer.

I received this item as a gift for christmas. When I got them home, I filled the containers (some which were misshapen) with all of my spices, labelled the tops (with some labels purchased separately), and then proceeded to stick them to the fridge. I then got to watch them all slide down the fridge to the floor. Entertaining, but not entirely useful. I wouldn't get these a gift for anyone else - they suck.

I have looked at several brands of these. When this one went on sell I jumped on it. I bought 3 sets. The first box I opened I tried to put the stand on the back and one of the stand holders fell off, the next box I open 2 of the containers were rusted, and out of the 18 canisters, 3 of them are bent enough that the lids do not fit. All in all they are OK for the sale price of $9.50, but if I had gone by the reviews and bought them for $29, I would have returned them.

I bought these with the intention of sticking them to the side of my refrigerator. The magnets are not even strong enough to hold up a container of dried parsley! Seriously?!
Also the edges are extremely sharp and the metal is very thin and overly pliable.
I'm so disappointed and considering returning!

I was always interested in these magnetic style spice decanters. I don't like having an entire cabinet occupied with spices. I ordered this and was pretty impressed with the quality - more on that in a second. But, it was immediately apparent that the magnets on these were NOT strong. They kind of rattle and slide on the included stand. I filled them up and put them on the side of my fridge and then accidentally bumped one, and yep, it fell right off and to the floor. This is where the quality was tested. The jar didn't open or break and there there was no mess. So, if you're okay with being careful with these, or can put them in a low traffic area, they should work quite nice.
