This book gives a glimpse into the fascinating life of Pearl herself. You can see the troubles that led her to drink, and led her to sing with her soul. I loved this book and would say to any Joplin fan, it's totally worth the read.

It was great to go back in the 60's and image what life was all about. Janis was a Super Lonely Misunderstood Woman. Her voice was full of Power like no other woman has ever had.. Enjoyed Reading all about her life. Thank you for selling it to me..
