Bought kit prior to going on vacation, and found out DC 12V Car Adapter in kit did not work. Glad I brought my AC adapter with me ! Not worth the hassle to send back to manufacturer.

This charger did not properly fit my KX414. If I hold it just right, the cigarette lighter adapter will power the phone, but it doesn't charge the phone. I strongly recommend buying another kit.

The charger was defective (or was not capable of charging my (K9) phone, though the specs claimed otherwise). The phone case and the home charger that came in the same kit worked fine.
