If you like Ruth McDowell's work, you will love this book. I have all her books and am glad that I purchased this one too. There are 20 projects, which are presented with design and piecing variations. Most are shown two ways, once with curved seams and again with straight seams. The color photos are wonderful and the directions and templates are clearly presented and easy to follow. Fabric advice and information on the construction process are included.

I wanted a pattern to make placemats for Christmas this year.
I had looked and looked for something I liked. I found this book on another site and ordered it only to find they were out of them. So..Good Ole Amazon to the rescue! Found it here at a better price of course. This is a wonderful book. The patterns are detailed but so real looking. A Great buy for anyone. |
