The top fasteners were not the same diameter. The metal loop on one was thicker and did not allow for the strap to be clipped on. I took it to be fixed and the metal loops removed and switched so they would match and be able to accommodate the clip for the strap.

Great buy for a very nice briefcase. Leather is soft and high quality. Back is sturdy and well made - that's important because I carry a lot in it. Good space and functionality. The way the buckles fasten the bag could be improved, but for under $200, I cannot complain. Solid buy.
