This bag is very nice leather with three pockets in the front as follows: There's a small pocket on the flap, which is not lined; it's smooth leather on one side and rough cowhide on the other. When the flap is lifted it reveals the zipper access to the large front pocket. This large front pocket has slots for 4 credit card slots and a see through ID pocket plus two small narrow phone sleeves (my iPhone doesn't have a bulky case so it fits fine). This pocket is the largest of the three front pockets and you can put larger items (a computer charging cable for instance). The third pocket on the front of the large phone/credit card pocket is about 7 inches deep or so. It is lined and can hold pens and small items for quick access. Those two smaller pockets are not bulky so you won't be able to cram a bunch of stuff in them.

Within the large main pocket there is a padded sleeve to hold your computer or iPad and on the front of that sleeve are the two mesh pockets as shown in the pictures above (revealed when you click on one of the darker bags above; not sure why there are no detailed pictures revealed when you select the saddle color). The main compartment can hold a lot of stuff but keep in mind that there are no additional pockets. Also you'll want to know that the back of the bag that lies across your back is not leather. I think the material is nylon. This is why I only give the bag 4 stars because I wish the back was leather.

If you order the bag and don't like it you can always return it in unused condition as long as you don't remove the tags or any of the strap padding until you're absolutely sure that you won't be returning it.
