Kids love it so much they Tear it apart!,

My kids love this book and were always bringing it to me to read.The only problem is that I have already been through two of these books and that is because the parts/pieces rip out very easily. The book really isn't any fun once the pieces are gone. I don't know what they could do to fix this; the book works well for a young child (maybe under one) who doesn't have the coordination to tear the book up, but once they are old enough they want to start pulling the pieces themselves. That is part of the story- that the items POP out of the pocket. It's hard to keep a one and a half year old from wanting to participate in reading the book and keep them from "helping" pull out the items, which eventually results in him/her ruining the book. |
