5.0 out of 5 stars The best and heaviest album
Here comes the monster...

The second album stunned fan's and silenced
critic's,capturing all the energy and power
of their live show's and summoning not only
their tightest line-up but heaviest audio
representation,reinforcing to all that Stuck
Mojo are first and foremost a metal band who
just happen to possess a machine-gun lead...

I first saw these guy's on this tour.
They opened up for Type o negative and I
saw this show in New London CT.I have never
heard of them before until I saw this show.
It's too bad Stuck Mojo broke up.One of the
best hardcore-old school rap band's of the 90's.
I never knew why they broke up.They were one
of the best.

Pigwalk is their heaviest album and their
best album in my opinion.

Pigwalk is a must own for every hardcore
fan and a must own for those who never
heard of them before.

5.0 out of 5 stars A riffin' good time, man..., January 13, 2005
This review is from: Pigwalk (Audio CD)
I havn't listened to this in a while...when rap-metal was the exception rather than the rule, these guys were the masters of the underground. As I listen to this now, a smile crosses my face...these riffs are cutting bone, man! When you got Devin Townsend (SYL) on board, how could they not? Unfortunately, rap-metal grew to be yet another obstacle for real metal bands, which is ironic, cuz these guys were as metal as you could get. DISCLAIMER-These guys were in fact pro-wrestling loving steakheads from the South, but they made up for it through their sincerity-they believed in what they did, and it showed.

A true original, and an f'n good time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Devin Townsend Production rules., August 10, 2001

Staight up, this cd is the whip. For those of you who don't know, this cd was produced by Devin Townsend of Strapping Young Lad, Physicist, Zimmer's Hole and his many other side projects. He is also featured on tracks 9 and.......I believe the other one is 6. This is one of Stuck Mojo's heavier albums in my opinion, mostly because of the Townsend factor. Anyways, this is by far my favorite album from Mojo and I'd recommened this CD to anyone looking for some decent metal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Got Mojo?, November 25, 1999

Stuck Mojo is easily one of the best and most underrated bands ever. This album is a must for any Mojo fan! The Mojo crew grooves like no other. Rich's tone knows no equal and the leads are perfect without a lot of excessive noodling about on the fretboard. No speed metal here - just pounding rhythms with rap type vocals. (Not to be compared to inferior groups such as Limp Bizkit) Stuck Mojo succeeds with power not speed.

4.0 out of 5 stars A kick-@$$ band in progress, March 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Pigwalk (Audio CD)
I like Stuck Mojo a lot. I'd have to put them in my top 5 or 10 bands. I suppose you could compare them to RATM, but it's really not worth trying. I hate rap/metal crossover because often it lacks any sort of authenticity. But instead of Rage's annoying politics, or Biohazard's vapidness, Mojo concern themselves with topics that affect us on an everyday basis: Gun control, Posing alternative bands, rape. And aside from that (since on this album you can't understand the lyrics much anyway), they've really got some major talent. The guitar style is kind of simple, but played very well, and Bonz has great talent as a rapper even though on this recording he still sounds a little whiny in places. Overall a pretty good album, which paved the way for Rising, which must be owned.
