do NOT buy these,

i know, we're all tempted by the low price; i was. these are very thin and cheaply made. as all the others mentioned, they are so thin u can see through them. i didn't see others mention this, but my sheets are also a different shade of blue than my pillow cases. that's not very important, but the worst part is that after washing them ONE time, tiny bumps appear on the fabric and make it VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to sleep in. i'm gonna toss these and get myself a new set. what a waste of money!

I like many others fell for these sheets based on the low low price.
They are very thin. Thin like silk. They very soft too. The problem is that they fuzz up very fast. You know those nasty little fuzz balls. I thought these would be great as summer sheets but with those nasty fuzz balls even that won't work.

Tissue-thin sheets,

The other reviews mentioned the unusual thinness of these sheets, but I thought they might have been overstating the case. They were, if anything, being too kind. While the sheets are very soft and the color nice, the fabric is so so so thin that I fear they will rip if I tug them too tight while making the bed. I can only imagine how they will hold up under the odd dog paw--not very well, I fear. Don't bother I'd say unless you don't plan on using them for long.

You Could Read a Book Through These,
By Fatesfaery (Georgia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pike Street 200-Thread-Count Microfiber Queen Sheet Set, Eggplant (Kitchen)
This was one of the few times I depended on a product's star rating without reading the reviews...and it was a huge mistake.
These sheets are indeed tissue thin! The tag states they are 100% micropolyester (whatever that is). They feel nothing like even the lowest thread-count cotton. The only elastic in the fitted sheet is in the corners and is very loose, because of that the bottom sheet does not stay on well. The seams on the pillowcases are poorly sewn and do not match. Save your money and look for cheap sheets on clearance at Walmart or Target...you'll get much better quality ! Edit 12-14-2007....after less than 3 months, both the top and bottom sheet are covered in pills to the point of being unusable. I just threw my set in the trash.

Nice for hot weather.,

The sheets have an interesting silkiness to them and they are nice for hot weather. I was surprised by how thing they are, actually. The material is non-stretchy. I don't expect the fitted sheet to last long. I hope Im wrong.

These low-cost sheet sets fit my lifestyle PURRFECTLY! I'm an animal lover and have both feline & canine "friends" who insist on sleeping on the bed. I've bought expensive cotton sateen sheets at triple the price and wasn't at all impressed with them. These microfiber sheets are thin, but strong! They fit my mattress as good as any and don't seem to gather up the critter fur as bad as cotton sheets do. I like these so much that I just bought 6 more sets - two are for my Mother. I ended up getting 2 King sets and 4 Queen sized sets for $49.00! That comes out to $8.33 per set! I even received the "4 for 3" discount along with free shipping! Even Wal-Mart can't beat that deal! These aren't $100.00 sheet sets, but for under $10.00 you just have to love them! POO-POO on the "nay-sayers", obviously they are in the crowd that expects PERFECTION without having to pay for it. That seems to be the norm these days! Buy a set or two, I really like them and I'll bet you will too.

HONESTLY, DO NOT BUY!!!!,
This review is from: Pike Street 200-Thread Count Microfiber Sheet Set (Kitchen)
A crib sheet at any retail store is thicker and better than this sheet set. Thank goodness I didn't pay for shipping. It literally feels like a tissue. I just gave it away. Hopefully, someone can use it for a craft or pet project.

I was very excited when I found these in the Friday sale for less than $15. My husband and I had a good laugh when they arrived. You could see clear through them!! All he could say was "You and your bargains!" As the others stated they are very thin and the pattern from the mattress shows through (which isn't the look I was going for!). These will be going in the closet to use for extreme emergencies only.

You get what you pay for Don't Buy These,
By Sheltie Lover "Tara Lee" (Reno, NV USA) - See all my reviews

I was really excited to find these, as we needed more sheets.
However, I wish I had saved my money. The first pair have been on our bed for only 4 days and the fabric has pilled horribly. (Pilling is when the fabric develops those annoying fuzz balls that don't come off.) If shipping were cheaper, I'd send back all 4 sets I purchased. I am either going to throw them away or maybe put them in our travel trailer. I just don't know if I want a camping trip to be unpleasant with these creepy feeling sheets with little fuzz balls all over them. Unfortunately I purchased two sets for gifts - I won't be giving these as I LIKE these people. I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEW PRIOR TO PURCHASING THESE SHEETS! |
