5.0 out of 5 stars Better than down comforters that cost 4x as much from Dillard's!
This is my 5th comforter, the first 4 I bought from Dillard's and NONE of those compare to the comfort and quality of this one. The first two Noble Excellence brand comforters I purchased from Dillard's were of the highest quality specs but when brought home, they shed feathers so much I thought that they had to be defective. 3.0 out of 5 stars good quality
Pike Street is a 'made for amazon' brand. I bought the full/queen in March 08. it was $65 back then and the cheapest I could found for a 600 fill power down comforter.
It is very warm and very light weight. I am very sensitive to cold, and I found it very warm when indoor temperature in the low 60s.
The only thing I dislike is the size. At 88" x 88", it is...

After a few weeks, I returned them and the second set shed just as much. It was my first experience with down comforters and just thought that was the way it is. After almost a year of constant vaccuming and near suffocation from all the down flying everywhere, I decided to try something new. I'm glad I did! This is the best comforter I've own. I'll be buying a second one to layer for winter. It beats the Noble Excellence brand from Dillards that cost 4x as much!

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm but not too hot, February 23, 2008

Great comforter. I've owned both a down and a synthetic down comforter. It's on the lighter side of the ones of owned but I think the most practical of the comforters I've owned. Lighter weight hasn't sacrificed the warmth and makes it more useful in the Fall and Spring.

I bought this down comforter a few weeks ago and have been really satisfied. It was a great price for a great value. It even looks good without a duvet cover. The thing I like the most about it is that I haven't seen any feathers come out of it...much unlike my old comforter. I highly recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars down comforter, August 22, 2008
It is much better than I expected for the price! I love it! It has a nice weight and good quality fabric. It is like the ones you find at luxury hotels.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great bang for the buck., August 7, 2008
This is a great light-medium comforter. I've used it for about a month, scared by the prices of down blankets i never purchased one. For $50, i gave it a shot. I arrived and it was nice a cozy the first day, 2 days later is fluffed up really nice and not crumpled at all. I got 3 of my friends to by one too, they commented that it was comprable to their ralph lauren macy's comforted, though not as warm for the same fill power.

I use it for temperated between 60-80 degrees F, colder than 60 and layer a sheet above and below it. The only problem with the price is that i don't want to buy a duvet, as the comforter is cheaper :)

The size is a bit small, but not their fault. I have a queen size bed, but got the king size comforter and fits nicely. For some reason the down comforter dimensions (for all brands) seem smaller than regular comforters.

I regret purchasing this comforter. It's very heavy and I sweat at night even in the winter while using it.

It also leaks feathers like crazy all over the room!

4.0 out of 5 stars So warm!, February 22, 2009
After my previous down comforter was ruined by my chewful bunny, I did tons of research trying to find a new one. This one was the perfect price for the quality. I live in Chicago and received this (much needed) in early January. It is extremely comfortable and warm, sometimes verging on hot! I ended up turning the heat way down at night so I would not be sweltering under the comforter. That being said, it is still the best, warmest, most comfortable down comforter I have owned. And the bunny is banned from contact with it so it will be around for a long time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very warm comforter, January 31, 2009

This comforter is very warm and soft. I didn't know what to expect from a "medium warmth" comforter, but it's as much as we need--and more!--for the relatively few cold nights we have in Texas. On very cold nights, I was shivering under 3 blankets prior to purchasing this comforter, but haven't needed any additional covers since receiving it. In fact, it's often too warm (but that's not a bad thing on cold winter nights:-))

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm winter nights in cold Chicago!, January 6, 2009

In our middles ages, my husband & I have taken to cocooning. Which means, one of us will take all the covers and roll, leaving the other to freeze during the night. This quilt has saved our marriage. We have a queen sized bed and are two fairly large people, and this quilt is plenty big and warm for the two of us. Given the tug-o-war of blankets during the night, this quilt is also strong enough to endure our nocturnal competitions. Love it!
