In the previous Cd, her voice sounds kinda DULL and as if that something was missing. Well on this Cd, she really improves VOCALLY. Her voice range is REALLY COOL. And the Lyrics are the BEST TOO. When you listen to the Lyrics, you will just REMINISCE so much from your past and relate to her MUSIC. IT IS A WELL DONE CD.

I Buy 2 one of them for my cusin in Italy and she's trill and super happy with this album, buy it today, and don'get confused by some reviews intending to misslead the consumer, this girl (Pilar) has a track of big success behind, like Thalia and Paulina Rubio.
These three are the real deal in Latin Music.

I bought this CD from Amazon (Along with the self titled debut of Mariana (I have a review of that one as well), Pilar is an excellent singer (I love her voice, and the fact she wrote a song on this CD ("Por Que Sera"), and there are some very good songs on it " Te Siego Amando Igual", "Vamos A Darnos Tiempo" , "Que Lastima", and two of the three versions of "Prisonera" ( 1 and 8). But I do not like "Love Is All You Need", it is no different then any dance tune, you can find on the radio.
I hate to say it, but I showed some pictures of both Pilar and Mariana in my office, and Mariana wins hands down in the beauty contest (And is a better singer). But, I would recommend buying this CD (And while you are at it, get Mariana as well, as a pair,from Amazon, it is WORTH the money).

After the big, big success of her 2001 cd "Desahogo" that contains one of the biggest songs of 2002 "Quitame ese hombre". Pilar comes back with "Pilar". An album that follows the same direction but with a more mature Pilar. The first single "Prisionera" (Prisoner) is very good and you can hear it in 3 different versions. Norteña, ballad and pop.
Between the songs you can find a song in English ("Love is all you need") which sounds very good and could easily be released to chart on Billboard's Hot 100, considering that "Quitame ese hombre" was so big in the Latin American charts that it also climbed in the Hot 100.
If you don't know very much about Pilar's music, I can tell you that she has a good voice and her musci can go from Pop to Norteña.

Es increible pero cada cd que graba Pilar Montenegro aun no teniendo una voz espectacular sus discos tienen una exelente producción y cada tema esta elegido de forma exquisita, al igual que su interpretación donde pone lo mejor de si.
Ojala y cada año pudieramos oir un nuevo cd de Pilar.

No cabe duda, de que este nuevo trabajo de Pilar Montenegro es excepcional.. aunque quizas me guste mas su segundo disco el de DEsahogo, creo que tiene unas canciones muy bonitas, por tanto si quieres escuchar buena musica de esta gran artista no dudes en adquirirlo.. una gran fan de Pilar...!!

La verdad es que Pilar no era de mi agrado ,pero me compro mi novio este CD en Laredo y la verdad que tengo otra impresion de esta chava, canta padrisimo y la cancion numero 3 "Que lastima" es verdaderamente preciosa, Prisionera nos encanta a todas las chavas de la Universidad, no hay mujer de mi Facultad que no este encantada con esta cancion, no cabe duda que Pilar no se quedo solo en quitame ese hombre, supero su trabajo y solo por eso me declaro Fan de esta chava que anteriormente me cai muy mal, pero ahora tiene una fiel seguidora de su muisca y me encantaria verla en vivo, lo recomiendo,COMPRATE ESTE CD, Padrisimo!!!

Este CD es mil veces superior al anterior, definitivamente Rudy Perez y Pilar tiene una quimica espectacular, La cancion Numero 3 QUE LASTIMA es un HIT a la milesima potencia y Ta Candente y Prisionera sin lugar adudas sonaran fuerte en el Radio, que alegria ver que Pilar supero su trabajo
