A little disappointing, January 13, 2011

The actual patch is not as well stitched as the one in the photograph. In person it just looks like a bunch of white loops embroidered on a black background. Other than the skull on the left, you can't tell what the rest of the patch is supposed to be. I'm not putting it anywhere that will get a lot of scrutiny, but it's still disappointing.
The black background is velvet, which makes it harder to hide the thread if you want to secure the patch better by tacking it down, so make sure you are comfortable with just ironing it on or don't mind the stitches showing.
