Don't listen to Muck. He's a moron., December 22, 2005
This review is from: Pilgrim (Audio CD)
To begin with, all of the original members of the band aren't dead. Ron Griffiths is alive and well, and so is the guy who replaced him, Joey Molland. Joey's no prince, but to say he didn't write songs and doesn't deserve to be paid for his contribution to the band is beyond stupid. Want a scapegoat? How about the music industry as a whole, everybody's beloved Beatles included. Joey, Pete, Mike, and Tom got screwed over long before Joey decided to get what he could for himself, and to be honest, Tom's demons were what killed him. The real tragedy here is Pete, and to a lesser extent, Mike. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be a nice guy.

A Solid Album, June 13, 2004
This review is from: Pilgrim (Audio CD)
Following the relatively commercial success of the Badfinger "Day After Day" live-album, Joey Molland released this album on Ryko Records in 1992. The production of this album, by Joey himself, is much more satisfying than his first album from 1984. The material is also better , the playing time is much longer; all in all a much better effort by Joey. Very strong ballads like "All Caught Up", "The Magic of Love" ( a bit too long ) and "No One likes The Rain" ( a potential hit ) combined with optimistic tracks like "This'n That" make this album Joey's artistically most succesful album since the Badfinger-days. Even Joey's straightforward rockers sound better than usual. My favourites: "All Caught Up", "No One Likes The Rain" and "This'n That"

This is a cd I always keep in my cd player...in a word, it's infectious! Some of my favourites: "You make me sick", "Vampire Wedding", "All caught up", "No one likes the rain"...but every song on this is great! No filler here. Buy this...you won't regret it! :-)
