5.0 out of 5 stars Gilbert Morris does it again., August 13, 2003

This is another excellent House of Winslow story, Mr. Morris just keeps on going and going and going... This one is slightly different from most of the series, it shows Lewis Winslow in a different light than in his early years. Mr. Morris isn't afraid to show the failings or weak side of human nature in his stories. The main characters, however, are very strong and this book is hard to put down. The ending isn't quite the "normal" House of Winslow ending, either. It does leave you thinking.

2.0 out of 5 stars The Pilgrim Song, July 10, 2006
This review is from: The Pilgrim Song (The House of Winslow #29) (Paperback)
I have read all of the House of Winslow series and enjoyed them. However, I thought this one was written in a completely different style, almost making it seem like it wasn't the same author. I thought it was written as an amateur would write. I found it more boring than the others in the series and it did not seem to have a plot. I will continue to read the others in the series, but I hope they are better than this one.
