A story of religious freedom,

This review is from: The Pilgrims and the First Thanksgiving (Graphic History series) (Paperback)
This one is also a good historical adaptation on the first Thanksgiving. We find out that the Indians that help the Pilgrims also had their thanksgiving rituals and that Pilgrims also had theirs. We know about what they ate that first day. More importantly, this story includes why the Pilgrims left England and why they decided to stay in that place in spite of the unsurmounting obstacles. It shows us how difficult was the colonizing process. I highly recommend it.

The Pilgrims, Graphically,
By Lynn Ellingwood "The ESOL Teacher" (Webster, NY United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: The Pilgrims and the First Thanksgiving (Graphic Library: History) (Library Binding)
This is a pretty decent retelling of the First Thanksgiving in graphic history form. It allows my students, who are ESOL students, to learn to read English and American History at the same time. Recommended.

Not what I expected at all. The story was accurate, but the comic book format was not enjoyable. I had no idea that was the format and perhaps I had the option to look at the pages online, but I didn't. Otherwise I would not have bought this book.
