pillars of pentegarn- your path to a great book,
By green18 (Rochester, NY USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pillars of Pentegarn (Paperback)
You are Jaimie, a young villager who posseses the ability to talk to woodland creatures. You are currently playing with two of them, Fox and Owl. You, unlike the rest of your fellow villagers, can understand animals, and find great comfort in their company. Although you have been warned of the dangers in the woods, you spend some of your most enjoyable moments there with your woodland friends. All is good until a group of goblins, hunting the wizard Pentegarn, the elf Lydia, and the fighter Baltek, cross your path. It is then that you must decide whether you should warn the fighters of their impending peril, or simply go home where it is safe. If you choose the help them in their quest, you can help them defeat the Evil One that has total control over the kingdom. For the adventurous reader, the paths you take can either benefit, or prohibit, the course of the fighters in their mission against The Evil One. The desicions are always yours, so you must choose wisely, and you must consider the welfare of your party in doing so. If you make one wrong choice, it could mean almost certain doom. Only those with a brave heart and strong mind can choose the correct paths that will ultimately lead to the destruction of The Evil On ,and once again raise the Pillars of Pentegarn. Like those that have taken the challenge before you, I guarantee a completly enjoyable reading experience you'll want to experience over and over agian. Good Luck, young fighter!!

This review is from: Pillars of Pentegarn (An Endless Quest, Book 3 / A Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Book) (Paperback)
I bought this book for my 9 year old daughter to read for both her summer reading for the public library as well as for her reading for school. She told me she enjoyed reading this book, which is an endless adventure, or pick your own path type of book which has different ending based on your actions. My daughter says she really enjoyed this book so I recommend it for other young people to read as well.
