Great historical fiction set in the Roman Republic.
This is a great book for fans of historical fiction. It is a very readable style with a graet story that spans a number of years during the Roman republic. Characters are well developed and interesting as it describes the period very well with more attention to the plot line than to the events of the time period. This is not the best book on fictional Rome that I have read but because I enjoy this type of book I read it and bought the second book and ordered the third. Not bad, good way to pass some time
