I'm a big fan of the Pillsbury Cookbooks. I love that the books have pictures for almost all their recipes! This is the second cookie book that I have purchased. I finally bought one for my mom who is always asking for my cookie recipes. I have it all marked up (like I do with most of my cookbooks) with variations, changes that I like to make, and family members' favorites. The best is the Honey-roasted Peanut cookies! They are so delicious. The glaze is yummy all by itself and we've often taken any extra glaze and put it on ice cream! I still think the best oatmeal raisin cookie recipe is found on the inside lid of the Quaker Oats container!

Interesting collection of different categories of cookies. Many with pictures, tips and suggestions on the side margins on the pages. Thought I tried several recipes and got so so comments from family and friends, the one recipe that gave me the most trouble was the Linzer Stars recipe. Followed the recipe directly and 6 out of 7 times were failures. The one time success took all day to make the cookies one at a time because the dough was so so wet and sticky. Even after refrigerating the dough as directed in the recipe. Tried the caramel cream sandwich cookies recipe a couple of times following the recipe. The cookies came out extremely hard each time and did not spread out when baking, thus the sandwich cookies were chunky size. Other than that I will still continue to try the recipes in this cookie book with caution, but having made cookies from other cook books and magazines, I had much much better first attempt success on each with zero failures.

This is a great cook book! The lemon bars are great and they have so many other options I can't wait to make. Definitely a good buy if you like to bake.

I have a large cookbook collection, mostly on baking. This book looked really nice so I ordered it. It is brand-new and I got it for a great price. I received the book in less than a week which was really fast. Alot (but not all) of the recipes have very colorful photos of the finished product. Every recipe has nutrition information plus extra information such as tips or facts about the recipe. It also contains bar recipes which are my favorite to bake. I would recommend this cookbook to anyone, even younger bakers since the recipes are very clear and easy to read. This is a great addition to my collection and has alot of recipes I can't wait to try.

This cookbook is loaded with a variety of great tasting easy to make recipes. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to make cookies but is tired of regular chocolate chips and sugar cookies

Great book that only Pillsbury could release. The old favorites are fun to recreate while newer recipes are fun to try and add to your favorites. Since receiving my copy, I have made two different recipes each weekend, to share with co-workers, family, and friends, that always brings a smile to their faces. Being a former professional baker turned IT person, books like this one allows someone like me to relive my childhood and those special moments baking with grandmothers, mom, and aunts while growing up. Memories are extra special, especially when you can associate a special cookie recipe/memory in your heart. I am fortunate enough to have many to remember every time I bake some cookies from this book or the many others I own. Enjoy a great memory and a cookie to share, just to help a special someone smile again.

The book is fabulous and arrived promptly. We only have the guts of this book in our bakery. Noticing the name of the book at the bottom of the page I decided to buy it from AMAZON. Once it arrived, I noticed that the inside cover is pink paper. Our oldest baker said, " Good heavens, now I know why they always called this the pink book!"
