They work great, don't leak and last for a reasonable amount of time. They write smoothly and don't gunk around the roller ball.

There are so many ball-point pens on the market today why bother buying the Pilot Retractable pens and the refills from Amazon? Because this pen and refill are the best! My handwriting is small so I'm always on the lookout for pens that don't gloop up on the page or skip. The Pilot Retractable Ballpoint Pilot Better Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Fine Point, Blue Tinted Barrel, Blue Ink (30001), 12-Count and the refill are fantastic! They aren't easy to find so buy them on Amazon and you'll be writing happy!
