The jokes were not funny.

I really hope this show makes it because it would be awesome to see the whole thing in stop-motion!

I love the premise, the plot, the voice acting, and the 'claymation. The overall look of the show in the claymation segments is excellent. This show is something I'd watch twice a week if you gave me the chance.

I laughed at the preview. I laughed even harder at the pilot. I hope this one gets picked up. It would much better in the full stop-motion than the fairly crappy animatic. I just hope they keep the same voicecast.

This show is hilarious. Smart, witty, funny, clever, great voice acting, great characters, very nice paradigm. I would totally watch this series. Good luck!

This show takes a risk and you have to give it props for that. With less stop-motion successes than you can count on your fingers, ever made, Dark Minions challenges penny-pinching network execs. The charm of Dark Minions balances out its flaws, which hold it back from being a truly great show.

Its biggest problem: pacing. While the show was funny, it was also a bit slow. It suffers from a problem that ails too many pilots: introducing the world. I don't get why this should be a problem, because this world doesn't need to be introduced. Anyone watching this show has seen either Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, Hyperdrive, Lexx, Andromeda, BSG or any combination of the above and more. We don't need the lengthy introduction. We get it: corporate-controlled Science Fiction space opera. Just give us a story. The pacing seems deliberately slowed to give the animators a break from creating new sets and characters.

It also could do with a little more character development. Everyone is a cardboard cutout of sci-fi characters we've all seen before, and their relationships (other than the two main characters) seem contrived. The main character's divorce is a step in the right direction. Character development, though, feels a lot like the show: mostly unfinished and two-dimensional, with occasional splashes of the 3D that could be.

Fix the pacing and the characters and this will be a show I'm proud to recommend to my friends.

There is definitely nothing like this out there right now. It's witty, well written, and is just a fantastic concept in general. The stop motion animation is sharp and well done, and it would be great to get some more of that on the air. All in all, an awesome show.

Took a few minutes to warm up to this pilot, but I actually found it very amusing once I got the premise of the show. The actors do a nice job voicing the characters, and parts of it were really funny. I'd like to see the entire finished episode, so I hope it goes to series.

Overall I really liked the pilot. I had a few problems with the tone. Its a tough thing to be funny and jokey, but then also blow up planets and have people suffer the death penalty. Still, I would definitely like to see the next episode.

I hope this pilot episode makes the cut. There is certainly a market for this kind of show. Perhaps the creative minds behind the effort could broaden their joke repertoire to include more than just smoking intergalactic weed and having sex with aliens; just a thought.
