I was not sure what to expect, but the fact that it was set in the 1980's and co-starred Jennifer Grey made me want to tune in. I was pleasantly surprised. Most coming of age stories have been kind of lost on me since I entered my 30's, but I really enjoyed this. I almost choked on my tea during the opening scene between Sam and David (Richard Kind is hilarious). The show was reminiscent of all of the 1980's coming of age flicks I grew up loving, but it also had its own voice. As a woman it is probably not 'politically correct' for me to love Nash, but I do. It is really hard to get me to tune into a TV show, it is even harder to get me to keep watching, but I definitely want to see more of Red Oaks!

Very enjoyable. Paul Reiser is an excellent club president and antagonist. I look forward to seeing where the show takes us. Visually I think they nailed Country club life in the 80's. Exactly what I expect from the talented people behind the show. More please.

Next to Transparent, this is Amazon's best show. Though not easy for a pilot to do, they established a strong cast of characters, a strong setting in a well-worn time period that they were able to make fresh, and a strong overall premise. Much hope that this gets picked up and that David Gordon Green returns to direct more episodes.

I am really picky when it comes to good comedy, and this show had me in stitches by the 4th minute. The cash is talented and dynamic, filled with actors that I've loved watching elsewhere. Can't wait to watch more. You'd be fools not to pick this one up!!

I love it! I was always going to always love it because I love Soderbergh and David Gordon Green. This has that same DGG TV style from Eastbound, otherwise worthy of premium cable. Great casting. Craig Roberts has been one to watch since Submarine and that doesn't change here. Hilarious, thoughtful and very 80s. Amazon should know what to do.
