This pen is one of my favorite things! I LOVE it! Great for those who write a lot, or for someone who may have trouble with getting a good comfortable grip on slimmer styled pens. The barrel/body of the pen is a good size, and larger than, say, a regular ball point pen. I think the look of the pen is very stylish and I like the colors it comes in. I enjoy using this pen!

This pen is reasonably priced and refills are easy to find. I used to prefer ball point pens, and avoid 'gel' pens because the gel pens would 'skip' while you're writing or the ink would just stop. -Not so with this pen! -It rolls right along smoothly. Great gift! I've seen other people who have this pen say that they love it too.

While I served in the military, physicians determined that I had arthritis. Since it only bothered my major joints, such as my knees, and since the prescribed treatments relieved the symptoms, I really paid little attention to the condition. Unfortunately, after I retired from the military the arthritis settled into my fingers.

For me, the most irritating problem with arthritis in my hands is with my writing. I had used ballpoint pens comfortably and with ease. Now, with my grip I am unable to control the pen, and my penmanship which was always sloppy became unreadable, even to me.

Pilot Dr. Grip is a wonderful solution. First the barrel is fatter so I do not lose the pen. Second, the barrel has a non slip surface which keeps the pen in my control. Since the barrel is larger it is much more comfortable than other pens I have tried.

I highly recommend the Pilot Dr. Grip.

I'm left-handed, and as most lefties know, smudging is a very annoying problem. With regular ballpoint pens, the smudging was getting so bad to the point that my notes were becoming illegible. One of my professors suggested a fine-tip rolling ballpoint pen or a gel-ink pen. This was the last of its kind in stock in my college's bookstore. That alone says something. I put it to use right after I bought it, and WOW! No smudging AT ALL! It's also really comfortably to hold and writes smoothly. I don't think I'll being using any other pen from now on.

I don't know if this is necessarily the fault of this pen or all Pilot products with the G2 gel ink but this ink smudges terribly - it ends up all over my hand where it crosses the page - and it skips sometimes. The pen itself was perfectly comfortable but I ended up returning it after one use because of the smudging.

I'm very picky about my pens, and I love this model. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in more colors or with blue ink. I'm a blue ink person so I buy refills and give the black refills to a friend who is also in love with this pen. It's smooth and writes well. I also like the other models, like the pencil and roller ball. It's really the only pen I use.

I attend many meetings and have to take a lot of notes so the pen I used is critical. I tried using the cheap stick pens at my office but it is so difficult to write quickly with them and they are never comfortable to hold. I was using a pen from Staples but the ink refills are packaged so stupidly I got sick of wasting money. They only sell refills in packs of 3 with 2 black and 1 blue. I never use blue ink and most documents requests black ink so basically I had a stockpile of useless blue refills. What a waste of money.

I borrowed a pen from a coworker to sign a document and this Pilot pen was the one he had. I was sold from the start. The ink flows very smoothly and dries quickly so the chance of smudging is minimal. It is very comfortable to hold. The pen is light and I was used to a little more weight in my pens but I have gotten used to it. The light weight is not an issue for me.

I ordered 2 of these pens. I have a silver one at home and the blue for my office to make it easier to keep track of. It writes so smoothly and effortlessly. I can take lots of notes at a very rapid pace. Also it clips onto my spiral notebook so it is always handy. I love these pens. Refills are easy to find on Amazon or at retail stores.

This pen works great! The fine tip works great in my ledger. The gel does not smear like it used to. Feels great in your had after writing for awhile. Much better than skinny pens

This is has got to be one the best pens I've ever used. I love the style and comfortability of using it. One of the things I love about G2s in general, is the fact that I write like a lefty, and the ink in them doesn't smear, unlike most gel pens. The only reason I can't give it a five out of five is because lately I've been getting refills that seem to leak a little which leads to gaps in writing, but I still love it.

I LOVE these pens. The only complaint I have is that they will smudge if you touch the ink soon after writing. However, that is the case with most any pen of this type, so it isn't much of a complaint. Great pen!

This is my favorite pen! I have used this pen for over 4 years, probably more. I lost my first one and almost cried. I went to get another one without hesitation. This is a smooth writing pen and very easy on the hands. I have to admit though, that "once" I bought a pack of refills and one of the refills did skip a bit, but I put a little heat on it and it worked like a charm. I write a lot and don't often have to buy refills, which means the ink lasts a long time. I absolutely love this pen and would recommend to anyone who likes smooth writing.
