These are the best pens on the market. fact. Why else would I order 12 pens from Amazon when I live in Manhattan and have a Duane Reade and a Walgreens within a 3 block radius? Simple, because these pens are worth it. I have been studying for my CFA exam, and I was missing something, wasn't able to concentrate correctly. Good old Pilot has fixed it.Note that I go with the blue now, when I was younger I went with the black, but I prefer the blue as it provides a contrast from written text.

I love these pens. They are the only ones I have used for years. There are only a few applications where they don't work being liquid. The only thing keeping them from being a 5 star is that every once in awhile one of them will leak and that gets a little messy.

I love the Pilot Precise V5 for the fantastically low drag writing.I spend a lot of time writing notes and need something that doesn't make me work to write, which is why I dislike regular ball point pens so much. I find the blue colored ink stands out much better than the black ink. Crank up the production line, Pilot! We need more of these pens! Andy

Pilot Precise Pens-Blue,

The first time I used a Pilot Precise pen was back in 1993, when my cousin brought in a couple to school with her. I remember the blue specifically. I think I asked to try it or look at it and I loved it right away. I had to find some of my own and I did. I got blue and black, and they became my favorite pens to use for some time.I always preferred the blue to the black, but now I like both about the same. Maybe blue still holds a special place. It is a rich colored blue. The pens have quick-drying ink, unless you are using them on any kind of glossy paper. Like when my cousin used one to sign my yearbook and it smudged a little. But on regular paper, they dry almost instantly. I always knew when my cousin used a Precise pen in her letters to me, because the ink is distinctive. I loved writing with these. Over the next couple of years, I got them in purple, red, and green too. Since then they've come out in pink and turquoise also. But you can't beat basic blue and black for most purposes. I still have some of my old pens from back then--if they still write, it would be interesting to compare them to these newer ones. The barrel feels about the same as I remember, maybe a little slimmer if any different. The font used for the name is different, but there is still the clear portion to view the ink supply. I like that in a pen.

These are my favorite pens, and I always try to have a stash at home. The other reviewer is right that the only probelm is that, from time to time, one of them will leak, and it creates quite a mess. I'd say that's happened to me may 3 or 4 times over the course of 6 years.

Fountain Pen Vs Ballpoint,

Rolling ball is worthless... sorry if i'm stepping on toesTHIS PEN WILL BLEED/RUN RIGHT THROUGH NON-TOP GRADE PAPER this pen has a unique ink formula alright... I've seen fountain pen + ink combos that have absolutely no feathering but this pen! contrary to what i like to say for what I buy, is absolutely terrible! LOVELY build quality per pen, runs thick compared to what you might expect from a extra fine, which means this company must be like Lamy about that lol I needed these for note taking. They have failed on notebook paper, and ruined standard grade hp paper that many print with. I'm not using a 90G notebook to take notes. I hate hate hate giving anything below even 4 stars, but this pen...

This is the best disposable pen you can buy. I have used these pens for 15 years now and they are fantastic. They write easily and smoothly without any dry spots. (No more scribbling on scrap paper to get your pen working again!) The liquid ink lasts for months and the window makes it is easy to guage how much ink is remaining. The extra fine point makes precise work a breeze. Just be careful of the needle tips, which are quite sharp.

My handwriting changes with every writing tool I put in my hands. And usually the penmanship is horrendous with any other pen besides This pilot pen model. Besides that, you can see exactly how much ink you got left. The shade of blue Pilot picked just stands out amongst the rest.

desc states is it a .25mm micropoint but these are extra fine point (pen label) which I already had. Buyer beware. Product ID 35335 was on the box, so not an orderfilling error.
