I have been so excited for this book to come out! And it is everythimg that I thought it was going to be. The story is so perfect for children ... I can't wait to give it to my 3 year old granddaughter! This is the 2nd children's book that I have from Michelle Meadows and each one is just perfect. I love the whole concept of Pilot Pups. Thank you Michelle for such an outstanding picture book!!!

I, too, eagerly have been awaiting the release of Pilot Pups. Michelle Meadows' first book, The Way The Storm Stops, has been a favorite of my daughter's since she first was able to appreciate books (she's now 3.5 years old). We read Pilot Pups several times as soon as we got it- an instant hit! It's so interesting to watch my daughter process the yawning dad as a mountain, the stack of dishes in the "creek" as a "peak", etc. My favorite reading moment with my daughter in a long time: she told me she wanted to "be in" the picture in the kitchen with the dad drinking tea (love that it's not coffee, by the way). I asked her what she'd be doing, and she said, "Sitting right THERE [pointing to the countertop], looking at those guys [PP]!" So, she then pretended to dive into the book! That's a pretty good effect, I'd say. I also have a pseudo-professional interest in speech and language, and I can see great features to Pilot Pups for those purposes (rhyming; broad, colorful vocabulary; alliteration, etc.). I can't wait to see how my daughter's experience of Pilot Pups changes and expands, as her mind is able to make more and more of both the dynamic and subtle elements of this wonderful story.

My 2 year old loves this book. I read him this everyday before nap and before bed (so twice a day). It's a nice soothing rhyming text with great pictures and not too long. I couldn't ask for more!

My son is three and is just now getting into books. He wants us to read to him all of the time now and so I turned to Amazon and bought him a ton of books. This book is really cute. The illustrations, the text and the story itself is just precious and best of all my son loves it. What kid doesn't love planes or dogs and so the idea of putting them together is a hit. I enjoy reading it to him and it keeps his attention. I definately recommend this book. I hope this turns into a series of pup adventures.

Three Pilot Pups are sitting on the bed all snuggled up in front of the pillow, but something is missing. Many of the other toys that belong on the bed and in the room are missing. It's time to climb up on the shelf and into their plane and go on a reconnaissance mission and find those toys, the ones that never did get put away!

Rolling faster,

to the sky."

This is an charming book any preschooler will want you to read again and again. This is a gentle lesson book that will encourage children to keep their rooms neat and to pick up their belongings. The art work is adorable and appealing and makes this book a page turner for the little ones. Is your room picked up and is everything neat and clean? If not, you could take a few reminders from this book!

I ordered this, because my 2-year old is obsessed with 2 things: dogs and airplanes.
Good fit.

I love the illustrations in this book. They are simple and and engaging for a toddler. The verbage is FUN and rythmic. I really enjoy reading this book, and my son loves listening to it.

Pilot Pups! Whee!

Michelle Meadows captures the heart of every parent and child with her talent for selecting the perfect words. Her books settle children after a busy day and deliver sweet messages that aren't cloying or trite, but are instead, timeless and endearing. I buy her books for every new baby that comes into my life and with twin grandchildren on the horizon, I guess I better buy two of each this time!

Love it! Love it! Love it! I am a Nana, and I bought "Pilot Pups" for my 3 year old granddaughter, Jasmyn. She loves books and thoroughly enjoyed "reading" "Pilot Pups." She loved the thrill of the adventure. The action description, combined with the colorful pictures, holds little people's attention and keeps them involved in the story. I loved it so much, I have bought several copies to give as gifts, including a copy for my granddaughter's Pre-K classroom. I, too, have read and loved Michelle Meadows' other book, "The Way the Storm Stops" which I purchased for my grandson, DJ, when he was younger. I could not WAIT for her to write another. We are looking forward to hearing more from Michelle and those delightful pups.
