I LOVE these pens. I've been using them since my sophomore year of high school, and I can barely write with anything else. Absolutely recommend. My only gripe is that the refills are impossible to find in stores.

I love the ultra fine point of these refills, but I think the tips may just be too small. After about two weeks, both of the pens stopped working. The heads got clogged and I couldn't use either of them. I now use the .05 pens and they're great. They write about the same and the difference in the two isn't worth it for me.

I was really glad to able to find this refill at such a great price. My wife and I both love the extra fine point of this pen and I didn't like to buy a new pens when it ran out of ink. Thanks again Amazon!

I have been using these pens for several years now, ever since I found a random one laying around my lab. I LOVE these pens. The point is super fine and makes my otherwise sloppy handwriting look extremely neat. This pack is perfect because I write a lot and go through ink very quickly; I originally bought a 4 pack of these pens and now I just buy the ink refills to put inside of them. The ink does smear a little bit so maybe not a good pen for someone who is left handed.

I've been using this refill for a long time. No complaints!!! Great ink, very easy to write with. Important thing sometimes when I use cheap paper this Gel Ink doesn't bleed through the paper. It lasts long enough. Finally the best thing about this refill, it can be used in expensive pens without any problems or adapters. I am using this refill with Waterman Perspective rollerball pen. Original rollerball refill costs twice more, it is good refill but I write a lot, so in my case this refill is best combination of price/quality.

This pen was so graciously lent to me last year. Since I tried it, I couldn't get it out of my mind--I just had to get one of my own. The pilot G2 0.38 ultra fine and I have been together for some six months now. I don't expect to ever use another pen.

My only complaint is that the 0.38 does not come in 6 different colors.

I love these pens. Only pen I use. So I came looking for refills, thinking it's better for the environment, lower cost, etc. I read the review about the refills costing more than the pen, and noticed the seller DID drop the cost of the refills to 80 cents apiece. But five dollars to ship?!? All of a sudden my refills are almost three fifty apiece. I'm sorry, but this seems excessive to ship something that's already shrink wrapped and could (and probably will) be mailed in an envelope. I'll look elsewhere.

I love the pilot pens, and I love the idea of buying refills instead of entire pens, thereby keeping all those plastic pen housings out of landfills, but when the refills cost 2 for $3.99, and the complete pens cost 2 for $2.99 (see Pilot G2 Fine Point Rolling Ball Black Gel Ink Pens, 2-Pack (31031)), where's the logic?

Pilot should make it more cost-effective to buy refills instead of complete pens, not less so!

These pens are wonderful for writing extra small, sharp things! Only pen that works for me! I need to get a lot of info in a small space and these are stupendous!

I love G2 pens. Unfortunately, I can't get Ultra Fine Point pens, so I order Fine Point G2s and replace the innards with these awesome refills. Which make my pens perfect. :)
