The cure for cancer will undoubtedly be mapped out using this pen. It can and will double as a blow-gun should you ever find yourself in a Berlin back-alley without one. It is lighter than helium and can run a 4.2 40. It has a well adjusted sense of self and can write haikus without sounding out the number of syllables on its fingers. The rubber of this pen is made at processing plants with a 'zero' eco-footprint. If this pen were human, Alana De La Garza would be his girlfriend and Dos Equis would have to stop running those ads about that lesser man. The designer of this pen retired the second after he designed it having simultaneously reached his career pinnacle and achieved individual enlightenment at the exact same instant. If this pen ran Facebook, there would be no more design updates and it's daily Twitter posts would be original, ironic and hilarious. If I were stranded on an island and could only take two albums the first would be OK Computer and the second would be this pen. In summation, allow me to say this, I was once lost but now I am found thanks to the Pilot G2 Retractable Gel Ink Roller Ball Pen, Fine Point, Clear Barrel, Blue Ink.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome in blue! October 29, 2010
Color Name:Black
My office has been buying these Pilot G-2 07 pens for the last couple years in blue and black ink and I'm not sure if I have ever used a simpler and better pen. The black ones for some reason don't seem to work consistently and run into the typical pen problem of going through times where nothing will come out, but the blue ones have always worked amazingly. The blue ones write SO easily that I refuse to grab any other pens from our supply cabinet and I even buy these at home now. In my opinion the grip feels great and the pen is easy to grab onto and keep in your hand. The ink in my experience comes out very thin and dries very quickly and only smears *immediately* after writing. After 2-3 seconds it is already dry and you're good to go. It is a click pen, and it doesn't appear to be any louder than other click pens; it may be slightly quieter.

I cannot recommend the black pens because they are not as reliable, and I have not used the two other colors, but I can tell you that the regular blue pens are my go-to pens now. They are simply awesome.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad. November 3, 2011
Color Name:Green|Amazon Verified Purchase
My favorite pens are undoubtedly the Signo 207's. But for some reason, signo makes the 207 with a very light green ink. It's almost unusable to me. So my search for green pens lead me here. After going through about 3 of these, here's what I think:

Pros:
+ Comfortable in hand
+ The green ink is very appropriate for writing purposes. It's not a light, soft green and it isn't so dark that it looks of black ink. It's probably the best thing about the pen.
+ Writes okay
+ Overall, it's a decent pen.

Cons:
- I originally purchased the extra fine G2's (also in green), but the lines were way too skinny, even for someone who writes compactly. So, I thought these would be perfect. But unlike the extra fine G2's, they bleed after you write. I don't mean to say the ink will spew out of the pen or leak in your pocket, but just that the ink absorbs into the paper slower. So initially you may have a perfect line, then suddently you have a bolder font. If you have small handwriting, this may be an issue. I've noticed it differs depending on the type of paper I'm writing on.
- If this pen were a car, it would be a gas guzzler. I couldn't believe how fast this thing went through ink.
- When I write with these, I notice they lag a little. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It's as if the pen were heavier, or the ink were stickier (but it isn't actually), or if the surface of the paper suddently became rougher, or maybe it's less aero dynamic. Well, you get the point.

Summary:
> Don't be fooled the the Cons section was longer.
> It's a great substitution, but if Uni-ball makes changes up their green ink, this guy's getting benched.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Disposable Pens, Period! January 22, 2011
Color Name:Blue|Amazon Verified Purchase
I went through my complete college career using these pens, and then my masters career. I'm living outside the US and we don't have these availble locally. I purchased this box because there just aren't pens that compare to these, everyone at the ofice and home has already started to try and take them from me.

Great writting tool.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great most of the time... October 12, 2005
Color Name:Black
When the ink flows, this pen writes very smoothly with even lines. The gel ink dries fast enough that I rarely run into any smearing unless I'm writing on an unusual surface...so caution if you write on non-paper surfaces or glossier papers.

Unfortunately, about 1/2 of these pens (I use them both at work and at home) run into ink stoppages. Sometimes you can get the ink flowing again, but many times you just have to throw them away. This is very frustrating as the ink stoppages have occurred in meetings (several now) where I can't get to a new pen, and I really shouldn't have to carry around 2 pens just in case.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and Sweet May 24, 2011
By Sean Ng
Color Name:Blue
Pilot is a great brand to have in your work place. I have been using the same brand for years and still have not been disappointed. The Pilot G2 07 has a very thin tip and makes writing essays very easy. The font size is not too thick and most importantly due to the thin tip, ink bleeding is not a big issue. Unlike many other ball point pens bleeding is a very big problem, not to mention the ink stains that appear on the hands.

The Pilot G2 07 also has a very nice appearance when on paper, it is nice and bold and easy for others to read. The feel of the pencil is also very nice, the grip is not too solid and prevents hand cramps from writing.

I highly recommend this pen for the office or school. I currently use this pen for taking notes and doing math problems. I also like putting this pen near a telephone so i can write the important info while listening on the phone. The pen lasts for quite a long time. It took about a year and a half for me to use up all of the ink. well worth the money
