The study of human emotions and behavior is fascinating. LIE TO ME studies how we all express ourselves and react to others and our world. Fleeting expressions (micro-expressions), glances, seemingly insignificant movements all tell a story.

This show is a remarkable showcase of non-verbal communication. The plots are intelligent and interesting suspended between fiction and reality. A pursing of the lips. a wrinkle of the brow, a frown or twitch could reveal the killer...who's lying and who is telling the truth?

This is an excellent show that is actually based on a true character, Paul Ekman. I'm pretty sure it's mainly fiction but still close to reality. I think that if I had to work a different job to the one I have now, it would be a "deception expert". If you are interested on buying this TV series I'm 100% sure you will not regret it.

I am enjoying this series. So far I have watched up to episode 4. I really enjoyed the interplay with the Koreans in episode 4. I also enjoyed the first show because that told about how the "Lie Department" came to be. I think that most of the technology that he uses is very high tech and too expensive for an average police department. However, it is his acting that makes the show worthwhile.
