You'll have my hard-earned right away, just release this great show while we're all still young. Please? My 'stache is primed for a rewatch and I can't buy these online episodes due to living outside the US. Gee thanks.

Edit: Three years later and they finally come through with a burn-on-demand release. The episodes are in good quality, so no complaints there. There are of course, no extras of any kind. Not much else to say other than it's great to finally have proper copies of all the episodes with end credits intact and without station logos plastered on them.

And the discs arrived unscratched, which is a nice change for me with regards to burn-on-demand.

The Good Guys is a spectacular show, and it's one I'm anxious to buy on DVD. Right now though, since the show went off the air, these online episodes are the only way to watch. If you haven't seen the show, you might want to give it a try, especially if you enjoy comedy in your crime shows.

Sometimes over the top, but never stupid, The Good Guys offers a taste of crime and mystery without the too serious treatment it often gets on TV. There aren't that many good comedies and there are almost no hour long comedies on TV these days. The Good Guys was refreshing for that reason.

Colin Hanks and Bradley Whitford were fantastic in their roles, while the supporting cast and guest stars were equally as great.

The people who decided to not pick The Good Guys up for a second season should be fired, sitting on a street corner with a sign....I'm an Idiot...Need Money. This was the best comedy on TV...I guess you don't need a high school education to do what they do. Bring it back.

I LOVE this show. I do not understand why it wasn't given more of a chance. The character dynamics are perfect, the dialogue is hilarious and the story lines are wonderful. Bradley Whitford was born to play this role and Colin Hanks is the perfect straight man. I actually feel anger and pain in my gut that this show wasn't given another season by Fox. Why do all the same, cookie-cutter shows survive and the fun, creative shows get cancelled? Maybe they just need more time to catch on? I really wish this show was on DVD.

I was crushed when Good Guys was cancelled. It was original, campy, and hilarious. I really believe it would have caught on if they had not moved it to Fridays. A lot of my friends had just discovered it,and boom, it was gone. The episode when Dan had the flu was side-splitting! FOX, please, please bring it back.

I'll admit, at first I was extremely skeptical of this series. The premise of it sounded like a cheesy B movie and would be a waste of my time. When I finally got around to watching it (via Netflix on Demand), I was in for a treat. The show is actually funny without trying really hard, which is greatly appreciated rather than forcing it to be something that it is not. The character of Dan Stark is an old school detective who refuses to get with the times, but the ladies certainly don't seem to mind. I'm deeply saddened that it was canceled after the first season. We'll never know more about the misadventures of this dynamic duo. For shame Fox, you had a hit and let it go.

I love this show. Too bad they cancelled it. I am so buying the dvd for my dad if it ever comes out. He's not the computer literate type and he would so love this show. It has cool car chases, gun fights and explosions! And it's not so serious like CSI or Law & Order. Great good fun!

I was almost in tears when I found out the show was not renewed for a second season. Although I am not a fan of The Family Guy, Fox did not know what it had until it gained popularity after the show was on the Cartoon Network. This is the same this with The Good Guys. FOX, THIS IS THE SHOW WE NEED! GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE!

Detective Dan Stark made The Good Guys - what could have been - the funniest show on network television. With The Office losing Steve Correll, The Good Guys would have taken the top spot as the funniest on TV. With a comedy lineup with almost nothing but crap on network TV nowadays, The Good Guys was a glimmer of hope into moving pass the trashy "comedy" shows. This is why I watch reruns of Seinfeld.

Specifically, Bradley Whitford nailed it in his portrayal of Dan Stark. There was one episode, which I can't remember off of the top of my head, where you could tell he was trying a bit too hard. But it was only one episode. Whitford played Dan Stark PERFECTLY.
Colin Hanks did well. He was improving as the season went along, but I think he's the reason why the show did not move further. Hanks was the Achilles heel. The chemistry was just not there. He's a decent actor, but not for this role.
