While watching the show, I was thinking this might be crap...but then main hero of the show started to show his character, and low and behold it got interesting, especially how he uses his zen to keep his mind in control. And that right there intrigued....and the ending was quite funny and extremely zen like. The show definitely shows promise, I look forward to seeing the newer episodes to see if the show truly lives up to its reputation. But so far, it intrigued me, and its kinda original, and with that I give it 5 stars, and lets see how this goes.

I honestly hadn't thought twice about this show until I saw it on the Unbox downloads. Since it was free, I thought "Hey, why not?" I am so glad I watched it - what a great pilot!! If it is indicative at all of how the show will go, I'll be a devoted follower.

The acting was incredible, great cast rapport and really fantastic writing. I was involved in the show the entire length of the episode, and found myself becoming truly involved with the characters. Lewis bring immediate personality and depth to the character of Charlie Crews, and Sarah Shahi shows complexity as his reluctant assigned partner, Dani Reese. Already these actors are showing incredible versatility and range, and this is just the pilot!

I'm really excited to see where Crews investigations of his own framing take him. After suffering for 12 years in a maximum security prison for a crime he didn't commit, he's got some accounts to settle. Should be good TV!

If you don't march-step to one of the religions of the people of the book, yet still would like a dash of spirituality with your entertainment, Charlie Crews is the man to watch. Shows like this - and I can think of only two, Kung Fu and Joan of Arcadia - come along only once in a blue moon. Crews' quirky character - Sherlock Holmes with a dash of Asperger syndrome - can be a hoot one moment, and then move on to something sublime, like the scene where he cradled the dying guy's head and whispered "go back to sleep, it's just a bad dream." I hope to get a few chuckles from this show. But should the Nielsen God frown, and some network toady cancel the series, I'm prepared to laugh then too at the joke - like Crews in the final scene of the pilot.

For a pilot this was great. I need to see more of it to decide if i will really like the series or not but I suspect the show will make it through it's first season.

It is entertaining and interesting definitely worth a watch and a look at the second episode.

Wow, this show really grabbed me -- a very intriguing premise that has lots of potential, and it was well-executed, too. Thumbs up! I'll be setting up a Season Pass for it on my TiVo.

This show has something for everyone. Plenty of "eye candy" thanks to Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi. Wonderful performances from Damian (as always!), from Sarah and from everyone in it. A very clever, well-written script that will appeal to people who like television that is intelligent, engaging, entertaining, suspenseful, humorous, ... I am so-o-o-o hooked!

I'm looking forward to the official broadcast premiere on September 26, and for the weeks, months and years of Life that follow!

This show is great. I didn't see any promos on it so I didn't know what to expect. I watched the pilot because of the catchy title. Half way through the show I knew I'd become a regular. Damien Lewis is great. There is so much depth in his eyes. There are a few things in the show that seem a little over the top, but it doesn't matter. It's entertaining.

This is a keeper. I liked the pilot and that kept me interested to tune in again. I loved this in boxed for I was able to view before it aired. It allowed me to watch Dirty Sexy Money which to me is a rip off of arrested development. I really like Damien Lewis is a great actor that kept me very interested. He's very quirky and plays this role so low keyed. His facial expression kind of tells it all. He commands the screen. I have no idea who he is or what I may have seen him in, but I will remember him Damain Lewis now. Looking forward to week three and the rest of the season.

Felt more like watching a movie rather than watching just an average television show. No commercials or long breaks is a plus ! I'd recommend this series and the download service to purchase it through.

Amazon has really outdone themselves by partnering with TiVo !

This is a tight, believable, well written story with a lead character who is unique, complex, and has you rooting from him from minute one.
