Justified is Just Fine!!!,

Absolutely the most 'au courant' use of the Old West theme in a long while! Even the boldly compelling mongrelization of gangsta-rap and blue-grass music, which introduces each episode, infuses the watcher with a proper disposition to build rapport with the essence of this series.
Walton Goggins is the perfect antagonist gone good(?) to Olyphant's walkin' the edge of the law marshal. Now, that's what I call a paradoxymoron! Well, anyway, one of the best shows on TV at this time and that ain't no shinola!

Different and Well Done,

For anyone looking for a somewhat different, but well acted and well produced crime series, this is a good one. Timothy Olyphant is excellent as the lead but the entire cast does a great job. Each episode furthered the development of the characters and the story line and I'm looking forward to season two. Highly recommend.

not a doppelganger ...yet,

Very good (not great) pilot episode. Olyphant is stellar and his nemesis in the pilot episode is a worthy match. Doesn't have the grit of HBO's Deadwood but the "lone wolf lawman" theme runs throughout. FX's challenge will be to make sure that the lead character isn't a doppelganger of Olypant's character in Deadwood. This show could go in many directions and I can't wait to see the storyline unfold.

One of the Best Shows in 2010 (review for Season 1),

This has become my favorite series to premier in 2010 and the whole cast was excellent and the stories were riveting. The over arching story is still a bit of a mystery since you cannot tell what side his Dad is on (other than his own). If you don't like this you don't like drama I would tend to say but it does have a "back home" feel to it that I tend to enjoy in his relationships . 5 Stars easy!!

Great show, great location, great acting, and great writing. If you love a good action/drama (draction?) with some good humor, this is your show.

Yet Another Crime Cop Drama But Kentucky,

Yes, I know this actor was in DEADWOOD. I loved that show but this guy is no Ian McShane, the actor who made that show in part what it was. This actor was a bit wooden, but handsome, even in DEADWOOD. I watched the first two episodes of this show. It is not that it is bad. It is that I already am watching so many American and UK crime series that yet another one has to set itself apart from the pack. This just did nothing for me in contrast to the heaps of shows already in my crime pile. This is about a U.S. Marshall who goes back home to Kentucky to fight crime, still with the US Marshall's Office. If you need a down home feel to your crime shows though, this may be the one for you. Not bad, not good. Needs to prove itself with really stirring stories if it wants me.
