Great book, and the Jeppesen book follows this material as pretty much a reprint. No need to buy it though, it's free as a PDF from the FAA website. Not too mention, with the FAA pdf, you always get the latest version. I love the link that says, "Tell the author you would like to see this on Kindle"... lol. Yeah, tell Kindle you'd like it to be easier to load PDFs instead of paying for material that's already FREE!!!!

Great book for new pilots thru cfi. full color graphics updated materail. with this book you do not need any other private book materil like Jepson or asa.

I was just looking to increase my general knowledge when I bought this book. I was amazed at how well the information is presented in a very clear and well written way. The illustrations are excellent. The explanation of the various forces that combine to produce lift is the best I have ever seen. You don't have to be an aeronautical engineer to understand it.

This book helps you to understand navigation and how to fly an airplane, its first aid for pilot for beginners< and hot to understand the instrument and how to read them

I'm a flight instructor; I recommend this and its companion, FAA-H-8083-3A, to ALL my flight students. There are lots of good books out there, but the FAA tests are drawn from these two (and the FAR/AIM), not from any other source.

They are exceedingly well written and clearly illustrated. And, yes, they're available free in PDF at the FAA website.

This HAK isnt that much different in content from the 2003 edition.
The images in this book are much better illustrated.
If you're the type to learn by seeing, then its solid buy.

This manual is free. Not sure why someone would pay for a book if you can download it for free?

This book is one of the best aviation books. It has a great sequence of learning that permit the reader to understand the aviation as a system and not only the aircraft and the flight.

It got here when it said it would and it is helping with my flight class and this book it cheep and cheep is always good!!!!

I bought the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge via Amazon, received it in time and it certainly complied with my expectations. I did a thorough review of the book at the FAA's website and decided to purchase it.
Eventhough the information can be accessed via Internet, a book is a book...
Very good material that supplements other ones in my library.
