I bought these for my mother because I am a huge fan of the hardbacked sets of Pimpernels I own. They are worth every penny. We keep them on the table and wipe them off after dinner each night and they hold up to our two children. The design is beautiful too, and will match with many different interiors.

The color scheme brings out the beauty of our cherry table but it would bring out the best of any table. They are thicker than other cork placemats I have purchased and seem like they will last for years. I highly recommend them. They are also not too feminine that my husband likes them too.

I ordered two sets of the Iris Squares because I already owned a set of four Pimpernel placemats, but the design did not match my style. However, they last for years and are easy to clean. The design on the new ones are very attractive and I'm pleased with my order.
