Not Bad, could be better,
By No More Pain (Chicago) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pimpin Ain't Dead (Audio CD)
As most of you know, Do Or Die is a great group from ChiTown, and have come out with many great albums since the early 90's. If you have yet to listen to them, do it now! They're the kings of pimp, in my opinion. Their first three albums (Picture This, Headz Or Tailz and Victory) are all classics. Do Or Die came out with Back 2 The Game, about a year or two ago, and I could tell they were starting to fall off. It was a great album, however, this one is great too, but just doesn't match the other ones. Ya'll know how that is, sometimes rappers try to make their new albums sound like old ones but fail. They should've just started from scratch, but hey who am I to judge? If you're a Do Or Die fan, cop this album, it's worth it, but if you're new to Do Or Die, cop the other ones first, starting with Picture This. Peace!

The Most Underrated,
This review is from: Pimpin Ain't Dead (Audio CD)
Pimpin Ain't Dead by Do Or Die is the most underrated album of 2003. These guys definitely put it down. Since the day I purchased it, I cannot stop listening to "Do U?" and "Fantasy". Somebody get these guys a better record deal so they can get a video out. Why doesn't Twista show his family some love? Pimpin Ain't Dead is an album that you can play from beggining to end and not be disappointed.

Pimpin Ain't Dead...and neither is Do or Die,

This review is from: Pimpin Ain't Dead (Audio CD)
This is the first Do or Die album I ever listened to. They have a somewhat Bone Thugs sound to their music. The best songs on the album are the more laid back tunes. They are great to smoke & ride to. The standout track on the album is "Do U" (ft. Twista). Other good cuts are: One More Way to Die, Fantasy, Ghetto Boy(my favorite), Bomb on Contact, Not 4 U, and Cold World. If you don't have this CD, pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

The Return of Do or Die,
By
This review is from: Pimpin Ain't Dead (Audio CD)
After the not so good "Victory", Do or Die responded with the better "Back 2 the game" and now with the even better "Pimpin Aint Dead". In my opinion, this album is right behind "headz or tailz" as Do or Die's best("picture this" a close second). Do or Die returns on this album with what brought them success on their first few albums...the nice laid back, signature Do or Die style, with some JP and of course the one song per album w Twista and JP, which is again as usual the best track (Do U?). My favorite songs are One More Way 2 Die, Do U?,Fantasy,Lil Ghetto Boy,Not 4 U,and Cold World. Definately a worthy buy, especially for Do or Die and Twista fans.

I was surprised to see a new Do or Die album at the record store so I instantly picked it up and it is the bomb! This CD is great for kickin' back and just chillin'. It's the perfect soundtrack for cruisin' the city in the late nite hours. Just turn down all your car windows & blast the volume real high and let the music pump through your speakers. Do or Die doesn't disappoint on this disc. They really have some Deep Basslines on their tracks. Standout cuts are One More Way to Die,Do U?,Fantasy,See It Through Reality,Lil Ghetto Boy,Stateville & Not 4 U. Cop this and all their other classics.

I was kind of skeptical when I saw Do or Die had a new CD out. But I still went and bought, and may I say, this is an excellent CD. It couldn't have been better. It sounds like the old Do or die and every song is great. If you're reading this right now, go buy the CD, you won't be disappointed.

This cd is pretty tight. Belo, Ak, NARD are back just a year after they released "Back to the Game". You can't go wrong with these guys. Even their worst album "Victory" was good. Haven't had a chance to listen to all of it but it is good so far. Tracklist is as follows- 1. Do U?

The boys from Do or Die have done it again, with another solid release, they have yet to put a cd that I didn't like. Anyway this cd contains another on of my favorite Do or Die songs, "One More Way To Die", it's kinda a follow up to "6 Millions Ways to Die". Of course it comes with some song for the ladies like, "Do U?" and "Fantasy", and hard hitters suchs as "Don't Give No F*ck" and "In a Minute". Again this cd is great for any Do or Die fan, as well as any rap fan.
