5.0 out of 5 stars Some of the Best Bass Beats I've Ever Heard!, April 4, 2000
By
Robbie (Minnesnowta) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pimpin on Wax (Audio CD)
Jt Money really outdid himself on this cd, which has some of the Hardest beats on the planet, with the booming bass that just captures you right away. I Got this cd because of "Who Dat" (w/Sole) which is an instant classic. And then after i bought it i found out that the rest of the songs were really really good as well, like Playa A** S**t which has some mint bass. "Dank" (w/Trick Daddy) , Whatcha Want, Ho Problems, Somethin' Bout Pimpin' (w/Too Short), Rap A** Ni**as & the rest of them. They all have easy rap along choruses, which are good to have every now and then when you in the mood for brainless rap, buy this, it's the perfect example of lyricism bout the regular Pimping, Sex, Jack-Moves, Murder and the like. But it has the greatest bass!

5.0 out of 5 stars MIami's best period!, September 26, 2006
This review is from: Pimpin on Wax (Audio Cassette)
I never understood why Jt Money never got his props. He flows a lot better than the average rapper of Miami and he has been in the game a lot longer. The way they are sweating these overrated rappers out here while forgetting about Jt Money is a damn crime. Standout Tracks: PLAYA A** S***, ON DA GRIND, HOE PROBLEMS(still makes sense till this day), TOO REAL(that girl Evil is a trip), ALRIGHT(great matchup with Big Gipp), SOMETHING BOUT PIMPIN(classic collabo with Too Short), RAP A** N***A, KITE 2 DA BOYS etc. Filler: Dank is the only song that falls short. Bottom Line: Pimpin On Wax is Jt Money's best work. Jt's style was always on point and the production was not bad. Also recommended by Jt Money is Return Of The B****izer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, March 8, 2005
This review is from: Pimpin on Wax (Audio CD)
Pimpin' on Wax is one of those CD's you can listen to straight through. There are no filler tracks and deffinalty no lame ones. He's been pimpin' it since being in Baby 2 Live Crew and will continue to pimp it. This CD shows some of the versitility of JT Money. Especially on track 14 where he takes his smooth flawless style and puts it on fast foward. All you new school players need to cop this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beatz 4 da trunk, February 28, 2000

JT's new cd is crazy nice. I listened to it on my way home from the mall and my head was bobbin all the way. I got a BIG stereo in my car with rockwoods and all that and the tracks were BUMPIN! This cd however falls short of his very first realease with the poison clan called " Low Life Muthas" If you ever get the chance to cop that cd.....GET IT!

5.0 out of 5 stars bad ass c.d., September 28, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Pimpin on Wax (Audio CD)
yo this cd was off the hook. j.t. got phat lyrics and beats on this cd and it didn't get repetitive. there were plenty of bomb songs on this cd besides "who dat" like "playa**", "somethin' bout pimpin", "dank", " problems", and "too real". there wasn't a boring song on here. this is a tight cd for real, definitely worth buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Is The best cd I have bought since PAC, May 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Pimpin on Wax (Audio CD)
I am from Tallahassee Florida and I can truly say that this is the absolute best cd I have bought since PAC and Scarface. For the simple fact that I agree with JT on Rap A** N**** where he says that he feel like a lot of N***** owe him cheese got him wasting his bread on their wack cd's. That's REAL. I guess I can relate to him because I have seen a 99.9% of what he is talking about. He aint coming out talikng about all of his pretty cars and pretty clothes and killing everybody on every song. He is talking about straight gettin down on da grind and all the real N***** need dat instead of paying 22 dollars for a double cd with one alright song on it. And you all know that alright aint never been alright. I'm Kite.
