I live in a nursing home, and this book has taught me how to deal with all the old biddies that live here. I am getting more attention than ever in the love department. I have also learned how to place myself at the top of all the other old men here, without even having to resort to any weaponry like the fellows in this book. The concepts are really the same; instead of cruising around in a Cadillac, I cruise up and down the halls in my wheelchair. The book has made this managed care facility worth living in!

I'm as fascinated with sex, prostitutes and pimps as the next guy; I have a small collection of (more-or-less scholarly) books on such, in fact. Unfortunately, the Pimp's Bible is unreadable and uninformative; it redefines the word "boring". In keeping with such, even the photographs appear to be Xeroxes. There's nothing here, folks. Absolutely nothing.

A great introduction into the many life styles and forms of pimping which go unnoticed by todays standards of the word pimp. I would recommend this over The Pimp Game: Instructional Guide by Mickey Royal. To me Alfred Bilbo Gholson has a better grip of what pimping means, he also represents a classier type of pimp, one who doesn't believe in drugs and violence as a means of pimping.

The cover is wack. The contents reveal just how much work the author put in to this lifestyle. This is still applicable today. If only people were willing to go through the correct process pimps might once again gain respect. Read between the lines in this book. Much game it has.

Greetings...It was a great joy watching "BILBO" work the room at a recent book party for "THE PIMP'S BIBLE: THE SWEET SCIENCE OF SIN"...His charm and romance captivated the long line of fans waiting for autographs...Young and old, male and female awaited their turn with the "KING"...someone asked, "If you were not a Pimp, what will you have done with your life?"...A gallant smile emerged, "I would have been a great boxer like Sugar Ray or Joe Louis."...getting up from his chair, "BILBO", tall, lean, and over six feet, jabbed the air displaying deft moves to the delight of the large crowd...Dressed in a purple silk suit, his prescence and power a sight to behold...With a deep raspy voice, he worked the room with elegant grace...showing off the skills that enable a man to control 25 women at a time...In an age when men have a problem handling one female, "BILBO" is at ease with a bunch at a time...Hey, the more the merrier...You just have to be brave enough to tell women that you have and like a lot of women...When you lie to women about having other women is the first sign that they are in control...You don't have to be a PIMP, but read "THE PIMP BIBLE: THE SWEET SCIENCE OF SIN" and learn how to romance and love the one you with..."BILBO" knows what girls like ...Wandack

These stories are as real as they come, they sure ain't no joking matter. It's a rude awakening to life or an existence in the underworld--life underground--another world, one of money, sex, and drugs. This is life on the streets in a big and segregated city--the South side of Chicago. Bilbo knows it, for he has lived it, especially after crowned, and given the title: KING OF THE PIMPS. He ran these streets for over fifty (50) years, and now he breaks the street code, and opens up the closet doors, and thus reveals the hidden and dreary secrets behind the world of pimps, prostitutes, and other notorious street players. According to Mr. Alfred "Bilbo" Gholson, the law of the streets, as the law of the jungle dictates that "...the one who does the choosing will do the paying". You must read and re-read this book..."THE PIMP'S BIBLE"...be careful for it might traumatize "the fuc_ out of you, especially when you learn for the first time on these printed pages about some of those tricks which are used on the streets and in night clubs across America.

A must to ad to the pimp collection. He lays out more of the rules than his life, but if know the game, its all about rules.

First a rare find, then a rare read. Mr Gholson gives his readers a insightful view of what this way of life is. Why would some try to ban this book? They claim is it because of its content. Maybe "shock" content is what we need to use in order to learn about other people (in their situations) instead of having a fixed opinion of what we think we know. This is one of a few books that actually speak some truth. Thank you Mr. Gholson.

I thought this book was going to have tons of game, but as far as my pimp book collection goes this book is just lame. If you want to read true pimp philospphy get Mickey Royal or Gentleman of leisure. This book is the classic "I was a boss player... now I am broke, all I have are some memories and stories for my sorry #ss, but I was the real deal". However it gives a good insight about pimp history.

It is said that the game is to be sold not to be told. Well, Bilbo is selling 9 bucks of his game in this book. Maybe the square gets impressed, but for people in the game is just another pimp book
