I agree with the others this book was all over the place. If you are a TRUE Reader as I am.....This book is just short of being DOO-DOO!

Don't waste your money,I was so disappointed.She should just stick to the FLINT collection!!!!This book is all over the place.I couldn't stay focused!!

I was excited about this book when I first saw it. I could not wait to get my hands on it because I love Treasure's Flint Series, but Pimp's Life was not good at all. It was almost like it was written completely differently then her other books. Now I'm the ultimate book junkie so I notice everything about the books I read. The voice was off, the writing lacked it's usual wit, and their was barely a strong plot in this book. I did not enjoy it and now I'm skeptical about buying future books by her. Treasure if you are reading this just a word of advice. Stick to what you know girl. Flint books are the bomb, but Pimp's Life blew up in your face, it was horrible.

I really liked to read and it has taken me over two weeks to finish this book. I really couldn't get into the book at all. It was really confusing. I'm not going to say that Treasure Hernandez isn't a good writer but, this book was lacking that's for sure. Although I must say that I was glad that Mack got his in the end. I'm not gonna say what happens to him but, when you play people it's bound to catch up with you. I just wish that the book could have been a little better.

The writing on this book wasnt as good as her other books. I could not get into this one.

I hated this book. It was all over the place and I couldn't focus on who was supposed to be doing what. I barely made it through the first 50 pages before I starting skimming the pages. After I read about a man who shot two cops and ran over a third cop while they were trying to capture him going free just because he gave the police information against someone else just made me throw this book against the wall - literally. The most he could have hoped for in the real world was a reduced sentence but he would have definitely done time. They hate cop killers. The other think that disgusted me and made me toss this book in the trash was the storyline about Mack and Joi being brother and sister after there were several explicit sex scenes between the two of them scattered through the book. That is just sick and wrong. If I had any indication incest was a part of the book I never would hvae picked it up. I recommend skipping this book. Your wallet and your brain cells will thank you.

I can't believe this book. It was not like the Flint Series. I was highly disappointed. If you ask my opinion, don't waste your time or money. The last 45 pages of the book was the most interesting. I kept skipping pages, and could not focus whatsoever on this book.

This book was an interesting read. It kept me turning the page to see what was giong to happen to which character next. The end was kinda expected because this pimp was just doing WAY TOO MUCH...LOL..overall I thought it was a good and different read.
