Excellent!, Gripping! A real page turner!,

I am thrilled that Amazon was able to locate a copy of this novel for me within their network! I saw the movie on video years ago and thought it was quite good, but the movie couldn't even begin to compare with the novel! I would recommend this book to anyone. Every page makes you want to read on and on. I was actually dissappointed when I finished, which I have to admit, I just received the book yesterday and finished it last night. I'm sure I'll wait a couple of months and read it again. This book was a real psychological thriller with surprises around every corner. A brother and sister like none I've ever read about before! Neiderman takes his readers into the deepest, darkest depths of the human mind where true inner madness hides behind secret passions. Very suspensful! I highly suggest this book gets republished and put back on the shelves for the readers of today to experience Neiderman at his best!

Andrew Neiderman is a unique and talented writer. After finishing "Amnesia," another totally unique and fascinating book, I read "Pin." This is the story of a schizophrenic sociopath and the sister who loves and protects him. Pin is an imaginary friend of his-- an anatomical mannequin left to him by his father, the doctor. There is black humor here. The conversations between Leon and the imaginary Pin are hilarious at times. Leon answers Pin's comment with "I was just thinking that," or some such comment. Very suspenseful story, moves swiftly along, no wasted words.

Swift and thrilling!,

Generally, the cover writeup goes: Young Leon and Ursula had little except each other and pin...Mother was driven by a psychotic need to clean. Fahter was consumed by his medical practice. But he understood the sensual hunger growing inside his children's young bodies. He knew they could help each other answer, "The Need." Father had Science and Reason, and he had Pin. Pin who answered all the children's questions in a voice like father--a clever trick, a brilliant illusion. But then Mother and Father died in an accident, leaving just the three: Quiet Leon, beautiful and frightened Ursula, and wise, impacable Pin. God help anyone who threatened their perfect trinity. And God help anyone who didn't believe in Pin."
