"Partners in Crime" + "Adventure" - 4, March 31, 2003

The tracks on this CD were taken from only two of Rupert Holmes' many albums: "Partners in Crime", from 1979, and its follow-up, "Adventure". Since these albums are increasingly difficult to find on CD, especially in the United States, this is a reasonably priced way to get all but four songs from two of Mr. Holmes' most popular records. Completists, however, will want to seek out the original CDs for those four missing tracks, namely: "Nearsighted" from "Partners in Crime" and "Crowd Pleaser", "The O'Brien Girl", and "Special Thanks" from "Adventure". This CD does include a track unavailable elsewhere, the single version of the Pina Colada song, but surely this is just a little unnecessary.
