This review is from: Pinay Power: Peminist Critical Theory (Paperback)
This is such a great collection, addressing issues from feminism in academia to the international division of reproductive labor to the use of cyberspace. It's such an important resource and should be on the syllabus of every women's studies and Filipino/American studies course.

Not for everyone,

This review is from: Pinay Power: Peminist Critical Theory (Paperback)
As an Asian American I'm always interested in reading more about my Filipino heritage. This was a very academically written book that is informative but not for the casual reader, unless that reader is interested in a very intellectualized dialogue about the very diverse Filipina diaspora. An excellent companion to both Women's Studies and Filipino American studies, this should be required reading for all Filipinas and Filipina Americans.
