5.0 out of 5 stars My ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE PINBALL game ever!!!
Yes it was released in 1995, after pinball Dreams. It's in 2D. But it's tons of fun, it's a real simulation of a pinball (except the credits, but instead you can win extra-balls by the match awards). There are 4 pinball tables, and I can tell you that they are all great fun : Party Land, Speed Devils, Billion Dolar Gameshow and Stones'N'Bones. I have a little preference...

There are 4 pinball tables, and I can tell you that they are all great fun : Party Land, Speed Devils, Billion Dolar Gameshow and Stones'N'Bones. I have a little preference for Billion Dollar, but a lot of people prefer Stones'N'Bones because it is mode based. Anyway, all tables have the same fun features : Things to increase your bonus (Cyclones/Miles/Skills/Screams), high-scoring modes (in each table, there is a mode which becomes available when you hit several ramps which makes each target scores 100,000 or 500,000 or even 1,000,000!), and of course the standard features : jackpots, extra-balls, bonus multipliers, hold bonus... Your high scores are saved of course.

So, if you are into pinball, and you don't mind 2D views... THIS GAME IS FOR YOU!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great then, still good now, August 11, 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Pinball Fantasies (Video Game)
After ordering the Gottlieb & Williams collections for the PS2, I decided to put these games back in for a little practice & they are still fun 15 years later.

No adjustable camera angles back then so you often have to guess which flipper the ball is headed back to is a def drawback but the games are more fun than about 1/2 the games in the Gottlieb collection so this is a nice pickup years later.

The 4 games are:

Party Land - Carnival theme with some fun sound effects.
Stones & Bones - "Halloween theme" with plenty of ramps, targets, & good sound effects all of which probably make this my favorite.
Speed Devils - Racing theme that has a 3rd flipper up top that done right, you can keep it up there for several turns. I've had many long plays on this one.
Million $ Game show - decent obvious theme.

If you like this, you should also like Pinball Dreams. Def. pick up the Williams collection 1st/also if you don't have it though

4.0 out of 5 stars STRANGE AND FUN 7.5 OUT OF 10, February 10, 2008
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Pinball Fantasies (Video Game)
Pinball Fantasies is the sequel to Pinball Dreams, and includes cooler levels and slightly better music than its predecessor. Like the first game you have four stages to choose from: Party Land, Speed Devils, Billion Dollar Game Show, and Stones Bones. All of these stages are more unique, and the graphics look better in this game than in it's predecessor. The gameplay is more challenging this time around, but it's all good. But the problem is the fact the controls feel a tad less responsive than the predecessor's and like the other pinball games I have it lacks stages. But if you want to play something totally out of the ordinary Pinball Fantasies is the way to go.
