Great Package
A friend of mine has a ping pong table with a tendency to lose or break balls. This was a great buy for her. I'd recommend it for anyone who needs a ton of balls for games, a table, or beer pong!

What a joke!
I'm relatively new to ping pong so I purchased these balls thinking all ping pong balls are probably the same. Boy did I learn my lesson. These won't even work as ping pong balls. They are made of real shiny thin plastic, they hardly bounce at all. DON'T make the mistake of purchasing these. I'm a free market guy, but calling these ping pong balls seems...

These balls are cheap plastic with a ridge down the middle that is raised above the surface. They do not bounce nearly as high as a regular ping pong ball. They do not bounce reliably, for hitting the seam will change the angle. They should be sold as beer pong balls, or under some other title. They may work as ammunition for some sort of ping pong ball gun? I am not sure. The plastic is softer as well and gives under finger pressure. Next time I order Ping Pong Balls I will order ones that are certified for competition.

144 ping pong balls does not weigh 29lbs,

The shipping charges are too expensive. This item could not possibly weigh 29 lbs as Amazon states it charges. 3 lbs would be the max including the box, unless the box is lined in steel to protect the balls in shiping.

The balls are cheap and work for ping pong as far as i can tell. They have a rather obvious seam. What my friends and I enjoyed most was that instead of a brand name printed one is the single word "China".
