The piano is very cute and my 18 month old niece LOVES it! It works wonderfully and is a great toy. It is a bit of a tinky sound to it, but let's remember, it's a toy. When I bought it, one of the legs of the stool didn't fit up to the holes in the seat. I contacted the company through amazon and they gave me an entirely new stool already put together. Oh speaking of, that's probably the only downside to this product, it didn't come with directions to put it together. But it wasn't hard at all and easy to figure out. I definitely recommend this product.

I was not a happy camper when I opened up the box and saw this product. There are no instructions included in putting this together... i am a single mother and i am NOT that great with assembly (lol). The keys shift back and forth and the "label" for the keys is way too long for the keyboard itself. However, i did not throw the box out of the window like i originally wanted.

I did have someone come over and put this together for me. No, the sound is not as "perfect" as they describe it. It's more chimey than anything. But for the price and shipping, you get what you pay for. My daughter doesn't know the difference and she absolutely loves it. If you want a better sound, i'd suggest going with a more expensive model, but for my 12 month old, this is perfect. It's just a toy!

I saw a lot of other more expensive pianos, but we went w/ this one b/c our daughter is only 21 mos old, and it's just a toy. Kind of wishing we shelled out the extra cash. First of all, this came with no instructions, so I sat and looked at the photo, while trying to guide my husband through directions. Also, the holes for the screws had been misdrilled, so he had to take his own tools and try to resculpt the holes. Secondly, it smelled as if it had JUST been painted and put in the box. Seriously, it gave us a headache trying to put it together in our bedroom w/ the door closed on Christmas Eve. Thirdly, they have the nerve to say this is "perfectly tuned"?? OMG. All it does is go "dink dink dink"...I tried to play a scale and the note do ascend, but it's totally out of tune. Plus some of the keys stick! At the end of the day, our baby loves it b/c after all, she is just a baby. But please don't expect your child to become a concert pianist on this thing...worse, it may make him/her tone def. #justsaying

This is a poor quality toy bench tips over. Be careful with this one it is not child safe. Paint is poor .
I would not recommend this to anyone. I should have bought a reputable brand name.

i bought this as a Christmas present for my granddaughter. Everybody in our home had been ill, so we didn't get last-minute shopping done. She's two and we've been trying to teach her about Santa. It wasn't until the week of Christmas that she understood and finally told me what she wanted Santa to bring her...a pink piano so she could play it along with Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck. So, I found this piano on Amazon and was afraid it wouldn't make it here, although they guaranteed it by December 23rd. Both the piano and bench are very sturdy and was very easy to put together. It's completely lovely and arrived exactly as it said it would and no dents, scratches, or broken parts. You should have seen her face when she woke up Christmas morning and saw her very own piano by the Christmas tree, just where Santa left it. She loves playing it and it fits perfect in her bedroom! It's even large enough for one of her Minnie's to dance on top of the piano while she plays it. Thanks, Amazon, for helping me create a wonderful childhood memory for my granddaughter!

This piano is pretty. It looks great sitting in my daughters room, but that's about it. Don't buy this piano if you have expectations of your child learning songs. And don't waste your money on the little "My First Song" books either. This piano is loud, but it does NOT have or keep tune. It's for looks only.

So I bought one of these things, they are sold under many brand names and this is just one of them.

As I tune instruments for a living I thought it might be nice to get one (I assumed the tuning would be a bit rough) and sit down and fine tune it, boy was I in for a surprise!
I started with the key furthest to the left which by the conventional understanding of the key arrangement would be "c" ,this was a source of some confusion, as it sounded like "g"! Could this be half an octave off? Indeed it was! After some research it appeared that the keyboard was assembled in the wrong order.
I had to take the instrument apart and remove the keyboard and rearrange the keys to match the actual "tuning". This was not easy as part of the instrument was glued together and it made the keys hard to get at. (The one in the pic seems to be set up wrong also)
By this point I had about 1 1/2 hrs invested in this thing. I could now start to tune it.
The tuning was all over the map, and only about 1 in four notes being within 5 cents of being in tune, and others were commonly 20+ cents off (FYI it is 100 cents between each note).
I had to attack the instruments "tines" with a grinder to tune them and also ad weight to the tines tips to tune them gave up when I hit middle F on the keyboard, as it seems to not generate any recognizable note , it appears to be both F and C at the same time due to some weird harmonics.

I stopped at this point in despair. Perhaps I will never master the playing and tuning of the toy piano.
