The six cameras used provide amazing close-ups, fade-ins and fade-outs, shadowed shots, views from motion arms that sweep in front of the stage, it has it all! Audio is direct soundboard (hardly ever hear the audience, except where the band wanted it heard!) and clear. The history of this recording is a curious one. As you may know, the band had all Earls Court shows filmed in 1980. Roger Waters holds the masters of those recordings in his garage (as he says). How this particular show found its way out is a mystery. As one well-known and respected Floyd collector and historian put it when we sent an advance copy to him: "This really is a 'holy grail' of Floyd collecting. I honestly felt it was like really being there." That about sums it up perfectly.
