I was recently in Lima Peru visiting family and friends, and went to Mangos and heard this very unusual elevator music playing in the background. Couldn't believe it was Pink Floyd. Reminded me of similar projects, like "Yes and Friends." Very interesting to see those hard core rock tunes being mellowed and smoothed by major and minor sevens, and yet faithful to the original compositions. I enjoyed this project. I've been a Pink Floyd fan for many years, and I also love to play bossa nova guitar. I never thought I could get away with so much. Thank God for humor.

I just love this reworked remodelled floyd. It does drive some people who hear it nuts, which for me is a bonus. The mixture of the familiar and the new, shoehorning the floyd's measured beats into unfamiliar rhythms and instrumentation, is exquisite. Then there's the breathy sensuous female vocal instead of the macho prog rockers originals. The music just turns me on.
