There are a lot of people who would mindlessly give a product five stars, but really, this umbrella deserves it. It looks just like the picture. It's so bright and pink; it can be a real mood lifter on a dreary, rainy day. It's like hiding under a big flower--if you're into that sort of thing.

Beyond its appearance, it has auto-close, it's small enough to fit in a very large purse or tote, and it has a very sturdy feel (unlike a number of smaller umbrellas I've owned, including Totes).

I love it.

This umbrella is bright, beautiful and sturdy. It's well made and open and closes easily. It makes a wonderful gift. The pink color is bright and the flower looks exactly like it does in the photo. I liked it so much that I bought 2 more to give as Christmas gifts. It sure beats just a basic black or solid color umbrella. I live in Seattle and we get a lot of days that umbrellas are necessary. I definitely recommend this umbrella. I don't know how it holds up in a heavy wind though. Breezy days, just fine.

WOW! This umbrella is stunning in person. I love the color, it's quite vibrant. I also love that with the touch of a button the umbrella pops open and with the same button it closes the umbrella as well. Highly recommend this product. It's so pretty, the shape of the umbrella has scalloped edges that sort of flutter like a flower petal. And it closes into a nice compact size.

I was given this umbrella as a Christmas present 1.5 years ago. I agree that the design is beautiful and I certainly felt cheery just using it on a rainy day. Several folks commented on how it stands out in a crowd of black umbrellas and really brightens the scenery. I also appreciated that it was compact and could be easily stowed inside the driver's door of my car.

However, I was disappointed recently when the umbrella literally exploded when I was shaking off some rain before going inside. I believe a plastic clip inside the stem of the umbrella broke from fatigue and the entire top of the umbrella just came off and the internal spring mechanism shot out of the tube. Given that we don't have a ton of heavy rain in Texas, it has gotten what I would call average use. I would have expected it to last a little longer.

Believe it or not, I am going to buy another one simply for the pleasure of having something joyful on dreary days. Hopefully the next one lasts a little longer...

I was amazed when I popped open this umbrella. The colors are so bright and vivid and it's super sturdy too! The first week of bringing this umbrella outside, I got stopped in the streets a few times for compliments. It really stands out in the crowd! Who wouldn't be amazed at a walking flower, haha.

I actually bought the same exact umbrella a month before, however I lost it at school. Losing it actually made me really upset... so I decided to buy another one, the same exact one, because it's such an attractive umbrella. I've brought it out in torrential storms with awful winds, but it hasn't blown inside out on me yet. Actually, it doesn't even wobble. I love it!!! I definitely recommend people to buy this. The price isn't too bad if you consider how long it'll last you in the long run!

This umbrella is a good size-big enough to cover me and my purse or my backpack, and not so huge like those golf umbrellas.

it is VERY CUTE and i have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's also nice to be bright for a change because everyone seems to wear dark and depressing colors when it's raining...

CONS:
The only reason i give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the automatic open/closing feature is not so great.
I would say that it's pretty flimsy feeling at times.
When opening it, if the velcro (on the strap that closes the umbrella) just happens to latch on even a teensy bit to a part of the umbrella, it won't open, so you have to detach it.

When closing the umbrella, you have to press a little harder than you would have to for better quality umbrellas like from tote.

After closing the umbrella shield, you have to manually squeeze together the handle of the umbrella until it clicks-it's requires more effort than other umbrellas, so i just put it against the floor which makes it easier.

It does seems to pick up the wind quite easily (which makes it flip)

SUMMARY:
BUY IT if you need an umbrella, or if you want a cute one. I say it's totally worth the money, and you are sort of sacrificing cuteness for quality, but who cares-the same goes for most products these days :)

Great gift for my wife. She claims it's pretty but not as sturdy as she would like it to be.

I love that this umbrella is small enough to fit into a good-sized purse or my glove compartment (and thus I always have an umbrella on my person!! Success!!) and that it's also large and sturdy enough to properly shield me and not get all bent and twisted in the rain. The design is beautiful and always perks up a rainy day.

The Gerber Daisy Umbrella I purchased lasted all of 6 days. The stick detached itself from the base of the umbrella, rendering it useless. I would not recommend this umbrella. Save your money.

I bought this umbrella for my wife. She likes it. It is compact, opens and closes easily and it is colorful.
