4.0 out of 5 stars The New, New Black
Touching book about wanting what you can't have but realizing you already have everything you need. Never heavy-handed and full of warmth and emotion, Pink serves as so much more than just a color (although it is certainly that in this book as well). Luc Melanson's illustrations are the perfect fit for this book. They completely meld with and enhance Nan Gregory's mood...

1.0 out of 5 stars Depressing
While I believe it is important to teach our children that they can't have everything they want, this book was very depressing. My girls were drawn to it at the library because of the title. We just finished reading it and I had to write a review right away. This book left my children feeling very sad. I do NOT recommend it.
