More About the Author

Andrea Grannum Mosley was born in South America, Guyana and migrated with her parents and two siblings to America at age 10.

Her history is the capacity of a Director of Human Resources with over fifteen years, specifically in Retail and Manufacturing Industries which necessitated management of over 180 locations in the USA , Hawaii, and Canada. Over the past decade she has partnered in the form of a career counselor with CUNY Career Development Directors (City College of New York, Medgar Evers Community College, BMCC, Kingsborough to name a few), SUNY (PACE, Farmingdale) schools and others from private sectors (FIT, Berkeley) to name a few.

In September of 2008 she was in receipt of "The Pink Slip" with a package and used that opportunity to volunteer more readily, this time with her own company, MosALConsulting.

Using her BA achieved at CUNY- Brooklyn College, she wrote and recently published the book, The Pink Slip- HR Secrets for the Displaced Worker. In this forum she shares core knowledge of Human Resources procedures and practices with persons that really need it, veteran/career employees. Her hope is to present options to clients that will permit them to gain or keep employment, while remaining marketable in a unstable economy. Her target audience is namely:

Persons ages 39-52
Income level $48,000 or less
All nationalities and races
Adults who seek to get back in the workforce after significant absence
HS Graduates/GED recipients with little (if any) college
Veterans

Her debit book signings will be at the Moravian Book Shop in Bethlehem PA, on July 18th and Phoenixville Public Library, also in PA.
