We checked this out of the library and our four kids (6, 4, 2, 1) listened to it several times a day the whole time we had it! They loved learning the words, singing along, dancing and acting it out - in pink clothes, of course!

I don't know what I was expecting but this wasn't really it.
It follows along to the story of PInkalicious but isn't really a musical per se. It's more like people talking in a sing-song voice instead of actual songs (I was thinking along the lines of Grease or Hairspray) My 3 year old LOVES Pinkalicious and the entire line of books...but just isn't that interested in listening to this cd.

We originally found this at our library, and my daughter (4), son (1 1/2) and I all love it. It's cleverly written to follow the original Pinkalicious story, and is put into a show that's just under an hour. The songs are catchy - my daughter and I sing to it constantly. My son reminds me of Peter in the musical, the brother who secretly likes pink. This would match perfectly with the trio of books and make an incredible birthday or christmas gift for many little kids. The books are just as good.

In advance of going to the Pinkalicious show, I decided to purchase this CD for my 4 year old daughter so that she can familiarize herself with the music from the show before seeing it live. I am so glad I bought this CD b/c she absolutely loves the music, has memorized all the songs and is now even more excited to see the show. This is one of the best kid's CD we have. Every song is well done and has a catchy tune. I would definitely recommend purchasing this.

My little girl (age 2) AND son (age 5) love the CD. They request to listen to it in the car all the time. I've caught myself singing along to it now and enjoy the different styles of the songs, it's so clever! I buy the book and CD for any little girl turning 2-4. Can't get enough of it!
